I received this color as part of a gift set, and it looked way too dark for me at first, but it is wonderful when mixed with a lighter color (I use champagne). If you're willing to mix colors, then you are certain to find a combination of Burt's lip shimmers which will look good on you. I guess they keep tweaking the packaging so it's hard to tell which color is which, but this color is RED, and I don't see any pink or brown tones in there anywhere. The mintiness is less intense in the shimmers than in the normal lip balm. If you want to wear lip color but have a significant other who doesn't want to taste lipstick, this is the way to go.

I wanted to like this product, but it's awful. I have pale skin, but I often wear fairly dark lipstick without looking gothy. This stuff, though, makes me look like Marilyn Manson. It's not possible to put it on light enough, even with blotting and chapstick underneath, on top, or both. Worse, it stains, so you can't even wipe it off. And if the point is for it to be moisturizing, I shouldn't have to wear it with another balm. Just horrible.

I love this stuff. The color alone isn't good on me, but I wear Burt's Bees Cocoa Lip Shimmer under it, which makes the color perfect. You can also wear any brown lip pencil underneath to darken the color and make it last longer.

I like the tingly feeling, scent, packaging, the shimmer. The color is trickier, it doesn't match the packaging. Not as brown as I was hoping. Makes my lips look a little too flourescent pink. Maybe I'll try the plain shimmer.

This color is amazing on me! I have naturally dark lips (most people think I'm wearing lipstick when I'm not!) that are a pinkish-reddish berry color. Like I said before, it is a rather dark color, so it's best if you have a tan, but a simple way to keep using it even if you're pale is to apply it either more sparingly or to blot with a tissue. This color is dramatically more flattering than Merlot, which is a harsh, bright red. If you're looking for a dark berry color, this is great. The one complaint I have is that peppermint is a little harsh on your lips, so don't use it if your lips feel really chapped. Other than that, it's a great product.

Love the tingle. I am fair, blue eyes, mousy brownish-dirty blondish-somewhat greyish hair with a slightly ruddy tone to my skin. The color is a rich deep red that complements my coloring. This is all I need when I don't feel like putting on any eye makeup.

The color is far too intense and dark for my fair complexion. I picked up Watermelon and am happier with that, but none of the shades are exactly what I'm looking for. The mint sensation is wonderfully cooling!
