Very hard to explain, but it looks great. Nothing like watermelon, but that doesn't matter much. I have fair skin, and it compliments it perfectly. However, it would look fine on olive or darker tones as well. It lasts a fair amount of time, and the minty tingle is added breath freshner bonus! Nowhere on the display or the product did it mention that it had a mint taste, which really turned me off the first time I put it on. Also, they described it as a lip tint which usually would mean just a touch of color, like in a gloss. It looked as if I put on lipstick; the color is dark & thick, not at all like a chapstick or a gloss. Unlike a chapstick or gloss you really need a mirror to apply because the color is so strong. I certainly would not recommend it for the evening if you want a dramatic look. It does wear off easily. I love the fact it is 100% natural! I am going to give it more time before I make a final decision about buying it again.

Wouldn't recommend it if you want the effects of a great balm, but would stick to the regular Burt's balm. The hint of color is very subtle, doesn't really show much. If you are looking for a darker moisturizing lip color, this is not for you. If you are looking for a lightweight, very lightly-tinted moisturizer, this is for you; could even be used by a man because the color is so subtle. But I really like it, and for a quick fix, this is like putting on chapstick with color instead of pulling out my lip gloss with an applicator wand. Quick, easy, and love the watermelon color. This lipgloss feels great and makes me feel better about my choices. The color is light, just barely a tint so I use it over an all natural lipstick when I want deeper color.
