Most recently I tried Tom's of Maine (Lemongrass) and Herban Cowboy (Dusk). They both worked okay, but would lose their odor protection about halfway through the day. The Burt's Bees has lasted all day every day I've used it. The smell, I think, is fantastic: citrusy and heady, very masculine. I've had no issues with residue. The formula is not irritating at all. After a few minutes, the only indicator that you even have it on is when your body heat kicks in and you get a quick whiff of that great scent. This is the first stick we tried on him. First of all, it is sticky upon application and the stickiness never goes away. I tried it once and immediately took it off because it was such a gross feeling and even had a hard time wiping it off in the shower it was so sticky. It's a really nasty feeling. Second, it smells like citronella. I guess that's fine if you like the smell, but to us it felt like you're wearing bug repellent all the time and the scent is extremely strong, which we don't like. Last, my usually sweet-smelling husband stunk of BO after using this. Disgusting. Terrible product. It didn't work for BO protection at all, it was uncomfortably sticky, and it smells terrible. This is the ONLY deod that does NOT cause me itch and rash ... and that includes several 'natural' brands. I have no clothes staining, no unpleasant smell from this, no problems at all ... absolutely love it. Pros

First of all, it is sticky upon application and the stickiness never goes away. I tried it once and immediately took it off because it was such a gross feeling and even had a hard time wiping it off in the shower it was so sticky. It's a really nasty feeling. The scent is gone after a few hours and you're left with a worse smell than using nothing at all. Just returned from a trip to Fiji where I used this. The product is not only that terrible, but attracted tons of tiny red ants into the bathroom. I know it was the deodorant because they left everything else alone and only went for this stuff. Pros

Comments about Burt's Bees Men's Natural Deodorant, 3 oz: Nice smelling deodorant. Masks odors reasonably well. Although a heavy sweater might prefer another product. The product glides smoothly and does not leave a residue, however it does a somewhat annoying greasy feeling to it.
