I have dry skin that gets even worse in the harsh Michigan winters. I discovered this about a year ago, and love it! I tend to get those bumps on the back of my upper arms, but with an exfoliating sponge (buf puf makes a cheap, reliable one) those were blasted away within a couple of weeks. I recognize that it's not the bubbles that clean, and that foaming agents are generally drying, so I don't mind that it's not super foamy. If you're into bubbles, a sponge or puff helps. The scent is light and pleasant, I don't notice it much anymore, even in the shower. I'm not a perfume wearer, and since using this I get compliments from the people I hug. It's not a scent that would even be noticed by anyone else.

I use the product in the shower. I use a bunch of it and it doesn't lather. In addition, the smell is awful! I'm amazed so many people like this product.

My daughter who is 9 loves the smell and she uses it all the time...i like it as a shaving lotion/soap because it does not lather very good. I love the smell and it does not dry out my skin at all. I have very sensititve skin and it does not irritate me.

I've recently decided to convert to natural products and this was my first attempt at a natural body wash; I normally use Oil of Olay Shea Butter Body Wash. Being that I have already changed shampoos, I was expecting the thinner consistency that this body wash has, however, I was pleasantly surprised at how well it lathers.

Also, the scent was pleasant to me, but I could see how it might be annoying to others. It's a slightly sweet, almost nutty smell that I can't quite place. And, for the most part, it left my skin feeling soft and smooth to the touch.

That being said, my major gripe with this product is that it left my skin dry and itchy. I moisturize my skin everyday after I shower, and two days after switching to this product even my shea moisturizer couldn't drive away the cracks that appeared in my legs. Worse than that was the itching which, to my utter amazement, didn't stop until I switched back to Oil of Olay.

After reading all of these positive reviews, I'm even more puzzled; although my soft, smooth, dry and itchy (yes, all of the above believe it or not) skin won't lie. I guess I'll end this by saying if you have dry or sensitive skin, beware.

I love this body wash. It has very delicate and pleasant smell. It is on a thin side, but I think it's because of all-natural ingredients in it. And it still lathers very well. It moisturises my skin that well, that I don't even need to apply lotion. I am happy with the product! Will definitely buy it again.

I loved all things Burt's Bees until I met this shower gel. It gave me a rash so bad I had to go to the dermatologist. Not for sensitive or reactive skin.

I like a lot of Burt's Bees products, but not all of them. This one is definitely a favorite. It is on the thin side, but it lathers very well. I like the gentle scent and it cleans without overdrying. Great product, have used this product for about 2 years.

I got this as a freebie with purchase, and am so glad I didn't spend money on it. It's too thin to be useful. Rinses right off. Haven't decided yet if I'm going to use it as a hand soap or transfer it to the guest bathroom -- not for daily use. Burt's needs to improve this one! I'm sticking with Olay body wash.

Love this natural product and it smells great. I don't know why people wouldn't like the smell. I get compliments all the time.
