I love keeping my scalp free of chemicals--less toxins absorbed in my body and better for my hair. Use it for at least a week before deciding if you like it--your hair needs to adjust to no sulfates & chemicals. Once all those chemicals are truly out of your hair, then it can absorb the natural product like it's supposed to. I have thick, color treated hair that is a little on the dry side and regular salon products work much better for me. I gave this product a fair try--used half the bottle and left the conditioner in for a long time but it still dried my hair a lot. I threw the remainder in the trash. The scent is tolerable but has an earthy undertone. REVIEWS Reviewed by 49 customers Sort by Displaying reviews 1-10 Previous | Next » Pros

Comments about Burt's Bees More Moisture, Raspberry & Brazil Nut, Conditioner, 12 oz: I have very fine, thin hair and was nervous about using this. I usually use expensive thickening shampoo and conditioners, but was looking for something more natural while pregnant. This stuff feels no different than any other I've used, from Bumble and Bumble to Redkin to Pureology, which is great because it's so much cheaper! My hair doesn't tangle, so it has enough moisture for me (my hair gets very greasy normally and this doesn't make it worse). Plus it smells great, which is an added bonus!

Cons Best Uses Comments about Burt's Bees More Moisture, Raspberry & Brazil Nut, Conditioner, 12 oz: This is an amazing product. It smells divine (my husband couldn't stop smelling my hair) and it detangles and moisturizes so well! I can't believe it has gotten any bad reviews at all but there are some things you should know when reading the bad reviews. First of all, when you put conditioner on your hair, it shouldn't be dripping wet. You should squeeze all the moisture you possibly can from your hair while in the shower and then apply the conditioner. If you apply to too-damp hair, the product will simply slide right off. Second, you need to leave any kind of conditioner on for about 2 mins. Most people will put it on and then rinse it right off. The most important thing to know about this product, though, is that since it's so natural, you might not feel like your getting results that are as good as the ones you get when you use regular conditioners (Pantene, Aussie, Garnier Fructis, and even salon brands). Those kind of conditioners coat your hair shaft making it appear more shiny, healthy, and detangled, but really it's just causing buildup. It's like bragging about having amazing skin when you COVER your face with makeup. If you want the product to work, you need to remove the layers and layers of buildup on your hair and scalp. The best way is to fill a color bottle or and kind of squeeze bottle with a mixture of 3 Tbsp raw apple cider vinegar (not white vinegar), 3 Tbsp of lemon juice (if you're worried about color fade, just nix the lemon juice), and a cup of water (double the recipe for longer hair). After shampooing and before conditioning, saturate your hair from roots to ends as well as your scalp and leave on for about 5 minutes, really massaging the product into the hair and scalp. Then rinse and put in this conditioner and leave in for a few minutes. The mixture will have a strong smell but will go away if you rinse thoroughly and then condition, I promise. It's significantly cheaper to use the mixture instead of a clarifying shampoo, especially since when you use nearly all clarifying shampoos, you're using harsh chemicals to remove harsh chemicals from your hair, which is just plain counterproductive.

Comments about Burt's Bees More Moisture, Raspberry & Brazil Nut, Conditioner, 12 oz: It smells amazing and feels amazing. I notice a real difference after I use this conditioner and also the shampoo. My hair feels so soft and nice. But like i said, downside is that it is a little on the pricey side for me, but it's worth it. And best of all, no animal testing! I have a beautiful bunny boy and it's important for me that the products I use don't test on animals. Bunnies are a common animal used for testing since they don't have tear ducts (which means they can't wash out stuff like our eyes do) and therefore many companies pour products into their eyes during testing to test the irritation level. Just thought you should know. Pros

Comments about Burt's Bees More Moisture, Raspberry & Brazil Nut, Conditioner, 12 oz: I was trying a shampoo bar but it wasn't quite working out. I have hair past my shoulders, its fairly thick, wavy & curly in texture. I love the scent of this, sweet berry but nothing too overwhelming. The nutty scent is barely there and sort of keeps the berry scent from being too much. I use the Raspberry shampoo and follow up with this. It rinses very clean, my hair never feels dry or straw-like. It feels very soft, I no longer need any stlying product - I just wash, condition and rinse. The same price compared to fancy store brands that are not natural. I prefer natural and how Burt's discloses all their ingredients.

Comments about Burt's Bees More Moisture, Raspberry & Brazil Nut, Conditioner, 12 oz: I really like htis conditioner... I've been using it with the BB volumizing shampoo so I'm assuming if you needed more moisture use both moisture products. When you put it on it seems to dissappear but I have found that it just soaks in quickly because it has been working. I really like how it makes my hair feel and it doesnt build up or weigh it down. Probably not enough of a conditioner for wavy, curly, or course hair tho but great for straight hair and probably fine hair as well. It smells really good too.

Comments about Burt's Bees More Moisture, Raspberry & Brazil Nut, Conditioner, 12 oz: I use this conditioner in conjunction with the matching shampoo. I find that I need more conditioner than I normally would use and I do coat my entire head with it from roots to ends. After the conditioner is on my hair I use a wide tooth comb that I have in my shower and detangle and distribute the conditioner evenly. I leave it on my head while I shave and finish my shower and then rinse it last. My hair is soft, clean, detangled and smells great. No flakes, no build-up. I cannot believe the shine. I have very fine damaged long hair and I almost don't have to flat iron after using this shampoo and conditioner. AMAZING!
