I purchased the entire kit, plus this. I used it for about two weeks, and it took a good week (maybe more) to clear the one pimple I used it on. In the mean time, my chin and lower cheek totally broke out :( So I would say it does not prevent acne.

As soon as I notice a little inflammation, I apply a little of the product. This way, I never break out.
Since it comes in a cream, it is easy to apply.

Cleanse the skin thoroughly before applying medication. On any and all active blemishes, start with one application daily then gradually increase to 2 or 3 applications daily if needed. If bothersome dryness or peeling occurs, reduce application to ones a day or every other day.
