It is a gentle product that does not hurt your gum . However, I find it does a really good job at cleaning and remains my mouth being fresh for a super long time as long as you are not eating anything. It is better than any other non-organic brands but also more costly.

The only one thing I do not like is the packaging, you need to turn off the cap and sometime the product just getting messy around the cap.

I have tried quite a few fluoride free toothpastes. Only 2 have I found WITHOUT SLS. Between Burt's Bees brand & Tom's - I prefer Burt's by leaps & bounds. It's worth the additional .70-ish cents per tube over Tom's.

I really like the taste also. My family does too. I like the texture better than Tom's too.

Agree with other reviews on packaging. Ugh - they need to revisit the packaging on this product. We do not use the top at all. We just unscrew the whole thing and then squirt.

I like this toothpaste because it is fluoride free and much better than any Tom's fluoride free toothpaste. When I wake up my breath doesn't seem fresh though like what I experience when I use aquafresh isoactive for instance.

I recently switched to fluoride-free toothpaste when I learned I had perioral dermatitis, which can be aggravated by fluoride. I tried Burt's Bees initially because it was one of the few available at my local store. I liked the flavor and the fact that it didn't irritate the skin around my mouth. I've been using it for about 3-4 months now and it seems to work as well as Crest Pro Health, which I'd been using for several years. I would've given it five stars, but it's a bit pricey and I've yet to find it on sale or see coupons for it, unlike Crest. Plus, the cap is difficult to open and the toothpaste sticks to it and it gets quite messy if I store the tube with the cap pointing down.

I got this product because it was the only natural toothpaste I could find that did not have both fluoride nor sodium laurel sulfates in it. It is thick and not runny as some have complained. The tastes isn't horribly bad but it kinda makes you want to hurry up and get it over with. And it didn't seem to do anything for bad breath. So although I was really looking forward to using this, I resorted to using Tom's which does not have fluoride in it but does have the detergent. I could live with it since Tom's does more for me in taste and quality that I wish Burt Bee's did. I don't hate Burt's toothpaste but I don't love it either. And for the $ I pay for it, it's not a repeat for me.

I love the taste of this toothpaste! Not too sharp and minty like Tom's, more lightly minty. Therefore I am willing to put up with a couple hassles: funny although some reviewers say this paste is too thick, mine is the opposite--bit runny. Also as you work through tube, top gets tough to open over time. I like the flip cap design of top though--maybe work on it bit more that's all!

You must smash the tube to get the paste out. It takes awhile in your mouth to get it to soften enough to brush all teeth.

Love this new toothpaste. The cap is a little difficult to remove. And the paste is a little more pastey than other brands. But I love this as a natural product.
