My teeth feel clean and are whiter than they were after years of using a leading brand whitening paste. The only negative is that I have to store it upside down in the box because if I don't, it oozes out a bit and the top gets all gummy. Not a big deal to me, it's worth that little extra effort. I like that it gave my teeth & mouth an extra fresh feeling without that too-sweet chemical taste of commercial toothpastes but this came at a price- it is very messy! opening the cap is a struggle & if you don't store the tube upside down all the toothpaste runs into the cap. I agree with another reviewer when he said "poor design aside, the actual toothpaste doesn't seem to really lather in the mouth, which is disappointing." I have to use quite a bit to cover & scrub all my teeth- much more than with other's. While it didn't make my breath feel exceptionally fresh directly afterward i must admit, my teeth did feel extra clean. I have tried a multitude of other SLS free toothpastes and have not felt like my teeth felt as clean as they do after using Burt Bee's. This one has a nice, fresh peppermint taste and spreads much more easily through your mouth. I do use an electric toothbrush to give the toothpaste more scrubbing action, but overall it's a great product. Pros

That is because it doesn't contain SLS (Sodium Lauryl Sulfate) which I am sensitive to. All other toothpastes will give me canker sores or make the corners of my mouth crack. This toothpaste does not do that. It also doesn't foam as much but it isn't necessary because it still cleans, freshens and whitens just like all other toothpastes.
