A friend told me that he had eczema and that the Sulfates in soap tear his skin apart and that I should try a sulfate free soap. I tried Burt's Bee's and my son's skin cleared up in a matter of a week. He does occassionally get a patch of eczema here and there from time to time but his body is finally healing and the eczema scars are starting to go away. I can't believe the 5 dermatologists never suggested this but I'm just grateful that there is a product like this that has saved my son a ton of teasing at school... his nick name use to be eczema. I like the smell a lot, although it really doesn't last after I get out of the shower. And it is gentle on my skin, which tends to be a bit dry and sensitive. But I really don't care for the consistency. It's very thin and runny - almost like baby oil consistency - and it doesn't lather up at all. The result is I find I have to use a lot of the product just to soap up my whole body. That means I go through the stuff very quickly, which makes it very expensive.
