This lotion owns their old Milk and Honey formula. I put this on before bed, and when I woke up my skin was freakishly soft and smooth. Hands down, this is the best body lotion on earth. It absorbs quickly and doesn't feel even slightly greasy. I actually feel like my skin is getting nourishment from this lotion instead of just being coated or protected. (Also, make sure you put this lotion on when your skin is just a little bit wet from the shower. It makes a little go a long way and really locks in the moisture!!!) My last bottle ran out and this new product had taken it's place. The previous product was in an upright bottle under the same name as the product in this tube. Since the name of the product was still the same (Burt's Naturally Nourishing Milk and Honey Lotion) I assumed that the only change was the packaging. I realized I was wrong after the first application of the lotion. The new lotion smells different, more like lemon instead of the sweet honey smell I was used to. The new lotion is also greasy / oily when applied and my skin looks like I've rubbed on baby oil. I started to compare the ingredients list from the old version to this newer lotion, but lost count of all the differences. Comments about Burt's Bees Naturally Nourishing Body Lotion for Normal to Dry Skin, Milk & Honey, 6 oz: I used the original formula, with the cow on the bottle. The old stuff tended to get a little greasy if you applied with a heavy hand but it did a great job moisturizing and smelled wonderful. The new stuff is not greasy and just as wonderfully moisturizing, but it SMELLS TERRIBLE! It's like the old milk and honey laced with some awful, waxy, vaguely citrusy smell. It reminds me of cheap lemon cleaner and an old musty room with sharp, tangy, almost metallic undertones. My BB cocoa and cupuacu butter lotion has the same kind of smell to it, too. I can't wear this if I plan to go out in public , unless I shower or wait a couple of hours; but even if I wait for it to fade I still catch whiffs of the smell. Terrible! Comments about Burt's Bees Naturally Nourishing Body Lotion for Normal to Dry Skin, Milk & Honey, 6 oz: This is one of the BEST lotions that I have ever used! I have always had a light/medium case of keratosis pilaris (chicken skin/dry bumpy skin) on my arms, and I used to buy Dermadoctor KP Duty, which is more than 5x the price. I started using this lotion, and to my surprise, it worked just as well if not better! I put it on right after I get out of the shower, and it leaves my arms super soft and smooth, along with alleviating the redness as well. I am a bit surprised at the scent comments because I am super sensitve (scent-sitive?? haha) to scents, and this one doesn't bother me whatsoever. It's not one of the greatest scents in the world, but it's certainly not bad and with the results, it's completely worth it! Best Uses Comments about Burt's Bees Naturally Nourishing Body Lotion for Normal to Dry Skin, Milk & Honey, 6 oz: despite the bad reviews, i saw this at [@] and just purchased it. well, i used it and it gave me a headache. there is definitely a bad/chemical-like scent and does not come close to the Baby Bees Buttermilk Lotion that they use to make. save your money: don't buy this product. Comments about Burt's Bees Naturally Nourishing Body Lotion for Normal to Dry Skin, Milk & Honey, 6 oz: Like many other I did try the old version of this, with the cow on the bottle, and had some doubts whether to get this new formula or not. Well it works just fine, does all it's supposed to do, and most important - not sticky, something that I had been looking for a very long time...The only throwback is the scent, it smells weird, tin-like, and may be unpleasant to whoever may be next to you (I can tolerate it). But if you put it before bedtime, next morning you'll wake up with soft skin, and the smell will be gone. It's subjective, I suppose. I'm gonna finish the bottle, but will look for something else next time. Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend Was this review helpful? Best Uses Comments about Burt's Bees Naturally Nourishing Body Lotion for Normal to Dry Skin, Milk & Honey, 6 oz: The older version of this product (with the cow on the front) had a nice fragrance. I used the other lotion because it did not have parabens in it. This new version smells horrible (like plastic or chemicals) and is very thick. It is like you are putting on paste. I am very disappointed. Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend (1 of 1 customers found this review helpful) Was this review helpful? Comments about Burt's Bees Naturally Nourishing Body Lotion for Normal to Dry Skin, Milk & Honey, 6 oz: Okay, some of these negative reviews sound like it's just people upset that the formula has changed, which isn't really fair. Well, I have tried the old formula and, while it worked well as a lotion, I couldn't stand the smell. It used to be strong and overbearing. So much so, my sister used it so hide the smell of cigarette smoke from her hands. I think this new formula is an improvement. The smell is still similar, but it's not that old sickly sweet smell that was supposed to be "honey" (it didn't smell like any kind of honey I've ever used) and it's not as strong as it used to be. The formula isn't greasy, but it does seem to sit on the skin for a bit before it fully absorbs. I use it at bedtime and wake up to really soft skin. Also, a little goes a long way so you really don't have to squeeze out a lot to get the benefits. While I'm still not a fan of the scent, I really like it as a moisturizing lotion and that's ultimately why I bought it in the first place. Best Uses Comments about Burt's Bees Naturally Nourishing Body Lotion for Normal to Dry Skin, Milk & Honey, 6 oz: I loved the old formula so much--the smell was sweet like honey, it absorbed so well, felt so light, and did wonderful things for my skin. Like others, I was weary when I saw the packaging change, but I love Burt's Bees, so I wasn't concerned....I purchased 2 tubes(I loved the old stuff so much, I went through it like crazy).
