I use Burt's Deep Pore Scrub on my face every time I take a shower, almost daily. I've been using it for two years and I absolutely love it. I am in my early 60s, but people tell me I look much younger. Exfoliating is an important beauty step and this stuff works! I think some users are confusing "greasiness" with moisturizing properties. It leaves my combination (normal-to-dry) skin feeling soft and moist. I love the natural fragrance, too.

The only downside is that it's hard to get the last few tablespoons of product out of the squeeze-tube, and since it's kind of pricey I hate throwing any away. I always end up cutting open the container and transferring what's left to a small jar. I've tried other exfoliators, but Burt's has a creamy texture, making it easy to apply, instead of messy or watery like other brands can be. I will keep buying this product!

I love Burt's Bees products, but this is disappointing since calling it a "scrub" is an overstatement. The "beads" hardly do anything to get rid of the dead skin on the face. Compared to St. Ives, the beads in this product are a joke.

It's probably better off without the beads since the cleanser itself smells pretty nice (in my opinion) and it's very moisturizing due to the natural oils in it.

Comments about Burt's Bees Peach & Willowbark, Deep Pore Scrub, 4 oz:

I use this product as an exfoliant and deep pore cleaner - the other reviews for this product seem to be mixed... For me, though, I needed something that would actually WORK on my over-50 still acne prone skin. The next day, after using this product the night before, I notice a marked improvement in skin texture and condition. There is a residue with this product, although I think it's there for a reason -to seal in moisture after the skin has been refined and the pores cleaned out.

Other scrubs I've used are way too harsh, and can actually make my skin break out even more. This Deep Pore Scrub works perfectly for me and I plan to start using it more often - say...every other day - to see what happens over a couple of weeks. For any of you out there with sensitive skin, heads up, because this product will not irritate.

I used this product including the Deep pore cleanser while I was deployed.
Neither product did anything for my acne and/or unclogging pores. I had the worst skin ever.
The weather & dust didn't help my skin but this product didn't do much at all.

Comments about Burt's Bees Peach & Willowbark, Deep Pore Scrub, 4 oz:

My mom sent this to me, because she knew I liked Burt's Bees products. Yikes, this scrub could take your skin right off your face. It has tons of grit and I would not recommend it for someone who has sensitive skin. This scrub is definitely for summer only when your skin is oily from the heat ~ it's not a winter scrub for my aging 49 year old skin.

I didn't notice an oily feeling afterwards, nor did I have any breakouts. I do not like the smell of this product and I found it very hard to remove. I tried just water on my hands and I had to resort to a wash cloth to remove the grit. It's just okay ~ it will probably end up collecting dust underneath my sink.

I am surprised by the negative reviews. I started using this product about 2 weeks ago, and my skin is very radiant. This is a very powerful exfoliating scrub. Although some people might find it too rough, I find it very effective. The scrub will remove dead skin, and leave your face clean and fresh. It is definitely cheap enough to try - it you don't like it, use something else.

I'm a fan of many Burt's Bees products, but this is not one of them. This scrub is too coarse to really smooth away dead skin cells. It just ended up feeling like it was scratching my face. I like the ingredients, and the scent is nice, but they should grind the peach stones more finely, and add more of it to the paste.
