I use Burt's Deep Pore Scrub on my face every time I take a shower, almost daily. I've been using it for two years and I absolutely love it. I am in my early 60s, but people tell me I look much younger. Exfoliating is an important beauty step and this stuff works! I think some users are confusing "greasiness" with moisturizing properties. It leaves my combination (normal-to-dry) skin feeling soft and moist. I love the natural fragrance, too.

The only downside is that it's hard to get the last few tablespoons of product out of the squeeze-tube, and since it's kind of pricey I hate throwing any away. I always end up cutting open the container and transferring what's left to a small jar. I've tried other exfoliators, but Burt's has a creamy texture, making it easy to apply, instead of messy or watery like other brands can be. I will keep buying this product!

I love Burt's Bees products, but this is disappointing since calling it a "scrub" is an overstatement. The "beads" hardly do anything to get rid of the dead skin on the face. Compared to St. Ives, the beads in this product are a joke.

It's probably better off without the beads since the cleanser itself smells pretty nice (in my opinion) and it's very moisturizing due to the natural oils in it.

Comments about Burt's Bees Peach & Willowbark, Deep Pore Scrub, 4 oz:

I have been desperately searching for new natural and organic skincare products. I have oily, acne-prone skin. I was looking for a more natural alternative to my St Ives Apricot scrub. This was not it. I am generally in love with Burt's Bees products, and was happy to see a better list of ingredients here. But this scrub was very ineffective. This product left a suffocating, greasy residue on my face after rinsing off. I needed to wash my face twice with regular foaming cleanser to get rid of it. During use, I found the scrubbing grains to be sparse - not a dense enough a concentration to properly reach the entire surface of my face/pores. Even worse, the grains themselves felt very sharp! Ouch! In my attempts to spread the sparse grains around, my face became very sore and red. Hating to be wasteful, I thought I'd try this for other areas of my body - same lackluster (literally) results. Burt Bees - please fix it!!

Comments about Burt's Bees Peach & Willowbark, Deep Pore Scrub, 4 oz:

I like to use this at night because like many burt's bees products, it leaves a film on your face. It is only because of the natural oils in the product that is suppose to moisturize, so never would i use this in the morning when I would apply lotion and make up. But it is perfect at night where i could wash my face and then jump into bed without putting anything on. It does smell good but the scrub does not have enough, believe it or not, scrubs! The bits and pieces that is suppose to scrub is mixed in with the moisturizing cleanser and gets lost along the way. So it does not scrub away as much as I'd like.

First of all, it smells like actual peaches, and the smell is fantastic. The willowbark exfoliators are coarse, and scrub away everything. This product leaves my skin cool, clean, and smooth after using. Also a great moisturizing product. Ideal for dry, sensitive skin.

this stuff works so good!.....i understand why most people would not like this product because it does leave a film on skin. I have been using this as my cleanser for about two weeks now but i rub this around my skin and then take off with a washcloth. If I didn't take this off with a washcloth it would leave the film and makeup on my skin. but i have not had one breakout in the past two weeks and in fact this made this huge pimple i had when i first started using it, dissapear way quicker than it usually does. my skin is so much softer and balanced. I also follow the cleansing with thayers rose petal witch hazel and my face is squeaky clean and not dry.

I'll fully accept that I may have been overzealous in my application of this scrub but one would think that whatever "beads" are present would be gentle enough to account for the fact that some of us vary in our application styles. Instead, I ended up stripping far more away than just the excess buildup from my pores. It was like what I imagine a chemical peel might feel like... Ouch!

I went to burts website and did their little test to recommend products for me. This was one of them. It's great for combination skin that is sensitive to normal. My complexion was peachy after use. Not too dry, and left my face smooth. What I like about it is that it moisturizes a little too. Not too much, it is not greasy at all. If you don't like the moisturizing feeling and want that squeky clean feeling then use toner afterwards before moisturizing, It smells just like peach.
