I usually apply after I shower. It makes you all shimmery, so it's great for summer, or even if you feel down and dull in winter. Lovely smell. A little runny, but that just means you can't put a ton in your hand at once. Not greasy. Stays shimmery until next shower, through sweat even. I only wish it didn't contain soy. I still use it on occasion though. Can't find anything quite like it. Definitely worth it for all the glow it gives your body.

I bought this specifically for a beach trip. Loved how it went on and I did look radiant. Everyone at the beach house told me I smelled great, too. BUT, I ruined a very prized blouse when I wore it one evening to dinner. The lotion apparently did not absorb totally into the skin (and I use a minimal amount) and it ruined my beautiful blouse. After reaching out to Burts Bees, I was really disappointed, because not only were they unempathetic, but they just brushed me off. And to think I used to be their Number One Fan. Don't ruin your clothes, ladies.

I love the subtle shimmer effect in this lotion & have been using it for 5 yrs, BUT the scent changed a couple of yrs ago when I finally finished my 1st bottle & bought a new bottle, only to find it doesn't have the same fresh fragrance it originally had. It now smells more green, grassy, herbal, but in a bad way. It makes me think of compost or rotting grass. On the bright side, it's not overpowering & it does dissipate a little, but on the negative side it makes the lotion unpleasant to use & interferes with my perfume. Now when I wear this I feel like I look good but smell bad. I wonder what happened.

Everything else about the lotion hasn't changed - it's still watery, so be careful against messy spills. It spreads easily (but you have to rub it in to eliminate white residue), absorbs well & leaves skin slightly dewy, which makes it soft & silky.

Great on a summer tan, a bottle would last me 2-3 yrs, it's a generous size for a chemical-free product at a nice price. My favorite summertime lotion...used to be perfect...now it's almost perfect. I tried other shimmer lotions as an alternative, but none of them had this same kind of glowy natural shimmer. I still continue to use Radiance, but unfortunately less often now.

I bought this lotion to wear this summer on my arms and legs. I have dry skin and after using this product, I would mainly use it for the faint radiance. It does moisturize but for me, it is too light of a moisturizer. The smell is a bit strong and sweet when you first put it on even thought it's a pleasant smell, but it dissipates very quickly. The fragrance did not last but the light shimmery effect lasted all day. This is a lovely lotion if you are looking to add a little radiance to your skin.

I still feel dry after using this lotion. The smell isn't all that bad. The glitter effect does not do anything for me, i suppose that is the "radiance" of the lotion. If it is winter, this would be the last resort of my lotions, it does not feel moisturizing and the consistency is very watery.

I really love the way this lotion feels and looks on my skin. The only problem I have with it is the smell. I don't know how to describe it, I just know that I really don't like it. It's too sweet for me, or something. BUT, like I said, I love the way it makes my skin look shimmery. It lasts a long time too. Because I don't like the smell, I put it on before I go to bed, so that the smell has worn off when I wake up. The shimmer stays on all night and well into the next day, ensuring that I wake up with a nice glow.

This lotion smells good, goes on well when skin is dry (not so when skin is very damp), and adds a subtle shimmer. Great in the summer & marvelous year round. My teen girls and all their girlfriends love it, too, and we give the tubes away all the time. Nice little present.
