My skin is sensitive and the alcohol in Burts Bees Rosewater and Glycerine Toner really stings the sensitive areas on my skin. I don't recommend it for anyone who truly has sensitive skin. I will try another toner from Burts Bees if it does not contain alcohol because after all, it goes on smoothly, smells nice, and doesn't dry out my skin. I gave it a 2 star because it needs improvement for truly sensitive skin

After I wash & exfoliate AM & PM I use this to calm down my skin. I love the way it smells & feels on my skin. How my pores tighten up, but don't have that tight feeling alot of toners leave you with. I like the idea that its an old time rosewater & glycerin. Lets face it, some of the ladies from the 20s & 30s were beautiful. This was one of their staples, why shouldn't it be ours?! The amount you get for the price is great! It'll go a long way!
Thanks to Burt's Bees & in keeping products around that are still just as wonderful today as they were when originally formulated!

Okay, so I did my usual research of the ingrediants of this toner(rose water and glycerin) and from everything I learned this toner should have been ok for my dry, sensitive skin. Both of the ingrediants are moisturizers that help dry, mature, and sensitive skin types. So I used this toner as directed using only a small amount on a cotton ball. I used it for 3 days, each day my skin became more dry. On the third day my skin not only was more dry but had developed dry patches! I was quite disappointed as I really wanted this product to work. It does have a nice, light rose fragrance. I gave this product 1 star only for the lovely fragrance. I love Burt's Bees facial products, but this clearly wasn't for me. I think it would be best used for oily or combo oily skin types.
I do not recommend this product for sensitive, dry skin types.

Overall it is a good product. It smells nice and refreshes. However, I'd recommend two changes: (1) remove the alcohol content from this natural product meant for sensitive skin; (2) change the heavy glass package to something lighter, it is so cumbersome when you travel.

I am 44 yo with combination skin. After a very stressful year, my pores seemed large, fine lines seemed especially visible, and face looked tired. I started using this toner daily. First I use Kiss My Face Olive & Aloe soap. Then, the toner. I follow up with a small dab of Alba Hawaiian Cocoa Butter on any dry spots on my face and all around my eyes. After three months, my pores are getting tinier and tinier, and the fine lines are disappearing. Very good products for the money (all three!)

I love the smell. the rose scent make me feel so good. but it contains alcohol, so stay away from eye area.

This product is great - I use it after washing my face and it feels refreshing, it moisturizes, and smells great. It is very low in toxicity which is what I look for in any product using on my skin. A little goes a long way with this toner.

Love this toner! It;s so refreshing and seems to visibly refine my pores as I use it. During thiis hot, humid summer, it feels great!
Wouldn't be without it!

i use it after washing my face twice a day. it helps remove what my cleanser leaves behind and i've noticed my pores are tighter than they used to be which is a major plus!
