I usually love Burt's Bees so I didn't hesitate to try this lotion on my dry hands. I used it once and could not stand the smell. It is a very bad, very strong smell that lingers. I had to wash my hands afterwards to get the smell off defeating the point of the lotion. :-(

I love this hand cream! My husband loves it, too. The smell is herbal almost menthol like, but not terrible. I've used other BB hand creams but this one is mine and hubbies favorite. This was my second tube, I use it all the time. Best of all, it is a Natural Organic product.

I love Burt's Bees, and this hand lotion is their best by far! I have very dry hands from washing, cooking & cleaning all day. They can get so bad, sometimes I get small cracks in the skin on the back of my hands. I just use some of this at night before bed and by morning my hands feel fabulous! And I know it's strong, but I LOVE the smell!

I am a nurse and in and out of hospitals with harsh soap daily. This is the best lotion I've ever used and makes my hands feel wonderful! I do wish for a better smell but don't let that stop you. It wears off when it's rubbed in and the lotion is well with this slight inconvenience. The smell is organic/vegetable/fruit smell. It's odd but it's not cow dung either.

This hand-cream has an extremely strong scent, BUT it vanishes soon and if you are a bit patient—which I am not but did learn to be!—the greasiness of the cream will also vanish, leaving your hands soft and moisturized. My hands are extremely dry and even washing them with mild soap dries them. This is so far the best hand-cream I have found. Highly recommend.

I am a lotion junkie and have used plenty of hand cremes. This one STINKS! I gave this product two stars ~ it might work, but I will never know because I cannot get past the smell. I received this as a free sample, and I am so glad that I didn't waste money on this lotion. I will never buy this product unless Burt's Bees changes the formula...

This is really good stuff. Super moisturizing and it absorbs quickly. But it does have a VERY strong smell. Not bad though. Its almost like a strong herbal, sweet smell? It is a bit overpowering when you first apply it but within 10 minutes the smell is mostly gone. Regardless of the smell my hands feel great after using this so it totally worth it for me.
