I love burts bees for the ingredients they use and their overall attempt to be earth and body friendly. I love, love, love this lip balm in rose but find the hibiscus to be not as smooth going on or as moisterizing. Since I have really dry lips in the winter, I will be switching back to the rose and probably never buy the hibiscus again. However, for someone looking for a more nude lip and not in need of extra moisture, this would be a good product. For me, I just like the rose better.

I use lip balm religiously when I don't have on lipstick/gloss, and I love Burts Bees lip balms. I wanted to try one of their tinted ones to add a little color on days when I am just hanging around the house w/out makeup. I have dark hair and fair skin and I chose HIbiscus. It is absolutely invisible on me. Seriously, I could let my husband use it if not for its other "flaw": this product is useless as lip balm. It is thin and glossy (feels like rubbing petroleum jelly on your lips) and disappears in less than an hour. So it's useless as lip tint and useless as lip balm, plus it is ridiculously expensive and smells like teenager candy-flavored lip gloss. Quadruple fail. I am sticking with the plain ol' Burts Bees lip balms.

Comments about Burt's Bees Tinted Lip Balm, Hibiscus, .15 oz:

I did not know BBs made such a nice lip products until now. I had used their regular lip balm before but wasn't satisfied. This product is top of the line.

I got 2 colors. Hibiscus and Red Dahlia. Both went on beautifully, the colors are lightly tinted, it treated my lips very well. Love this product. And I like the packaging too.

I love this product. The color is light but shows well. It helps keep lips soft therefore moist. I only wished to color lasted longer especially since I forget to reapply. I tried it skeptically but it is a winner now.

I have eczema around my lips and can never use products with paraben and all that synthetic curses. Burt's bees products have worked really well so far! I use sebamed lip balm with spf as well but love this because of the slight tint! Moisturises and beautifies at the same time!

Comments about Burt's Bees Tinted Lip Balm, Hibiscus, .15 oz:

I've used rose and hibiscus which are moisturizing but too red for me, so I picked this one to neutralized/brighten my dark red lip. This one is much worse than the others, poor color payoff that gives no color other than a tiny bit of brown. It also does not glide on as smoothly as other ones.

Comments about Burt's Bees Tinted Lip Balm, Hibiscus, .15 oz:

A bit pricey but it works great. Very moisturizing and it comes with a tint of color. I have very pale lips probably due to long use of lipsticks so this is perfect for daily use or stepping out for some short errands without putting on regular lipsticks. It also does not have some weird smell or tastes that most lip balms have. Would recommend.

Comments about Burt's Bees Tinted Lip Balm, Hibiscus, .15 oz:

They aren't lipstick, so they won't stay on for
a long time, but they are tinted lip balm, so
they do really make your lips feel soft from
being chapped and give protection from the sun.
A bonus is that they have a very nice, natural
non matt color. I use them as a light lipstick.
I really like them, especially the hibicus color.
It is that natural 'brownish pink' color that matches lips only better.

Comments about Burt's Bees Tinted Lip Balm, Hibiscus, .15 oz:

This product is good. It is not amazing but it does the job. I have fair skin and the color (Rose and Red Dahlia) show up on my lips. It makes them just look rosier but not like I am wearing lipstick. This good if you are fair and your lips looked washed out - this will add color to bring them to a natural looking color. If you already have dark lips or if you have darker skin, this lip balm probably does not have enough pigmentation for you.

I also like that it is very moisturizing but not greasy like lip gloss. It does not work on extremely chapped lips - if you need to heal your lips get the original lip balm. But if your lips are in good condition already this is a good maintenance lip balm. I apply it about once a hour, which is pretty typical for me.

It is true that it does not last all day!
