I am 63yo with grey hair, and should have a bit of tint on my lips at all times. Living in a very dry climate, I ALWAYS must wear some type of lip balm. This is my perfect combo. The tint in this is very light (Pink Blossom) but I like that, and I have never found another lipstick/liptint, etc that did not dry out my lips. It lasts for several hours on me, unless I eat, and then reapplying is sooo easy. The very faint smell is not an issue for me.

Burt's Bees got this product right in all respects except for one, and it's major. There's a natural "flavor"/fragrance that smells just like Twizzler's red licorice. It's truly disgusting. I was pretty disappointed because everything else is perfect. The formula goes on very smooth and is highly moisturizing. It looks a little glossy with the right amount of pigment (not too much). And the packaging is plush enough that I would buy these as a cute small addition to a gift for a girlfriend.

I bought this in two colors, but after one use, immediately threw them in the trash. Such a waste. Am hoping the company will remove the sickeningly sweet candy-like scent (and not replace it with another heavy scent like vanilla or misc "tropical"). Then this lip balm will be perfect.

My daughter loves this lip balm because it works well and mostly because of the nice tint it gives her lips. She doesn't have to wear lipstick with it, but she could if she wanted to.

Comments about Burt's Bees Tinted Lip Balm, Pink Blossom, .15 oz:

I have strawberry-blond hair and the fair skin that goes with it. I don't feel I can wear most bright or deep colors, so tend toward lighter shades. This Pink Blossom is perfect on me, sort of a "Your Lips, But Better" shade - gives me a little more (pinkish nude) color than I'd ordinarily have. It's a nice replacement for Blistex's Lip Tone, which I can't really find anywhere for the past couple of years. Heck, I like this better, because it's more natural and just feels nicer on. Oh, I also really like the texture (soft and light, moisturizing) and that it's not waxy or glossy.

Comments about Burt's Bees Tinted Lip Balm, Pink Blossom, .15 oz:

This is the perfect color lip balm for me. I have an allergy to Red 7 and other artificial dyes, which means I can't wear a lot of lip sticks and glosses. This colors my lips just like lip stick or gloss and I don't have any reaction since it's all natural!

        Not perfect

        By Sa So

Comments about Burt's Bees Tinted Lip Balm, Pink Blossom, .15 oz:

I bought this in hibiscus. While this lip balm moisturizes well, I'm still looking for a better product. There is no SPF - bummer, can't wear it surfing. I also don't like the fact that it's scented, although you get used to the scent fairly quickly (I am very sensitive to smells). The tint is definitely there but I don't love the color. It is a very dull/dirty medium reddish pink while the color on the box shows more of a bright version of that. I have very light peach/ golden skin and dark blond hair and the color makes me look tired. Maybe good for someone with a cooler complexion. Between limited use due to no SPF and the color, I don't see myself using this too often.

Comments about Burt's Bees Tinted Lip Balm, Pink Blossom, .15 oz:

I have naturally red lips. So for me, the Rose color has no effect. The Honeysuckle is my favorite - provides a light sheer color that is lighter than my natural red. I like the way it tastes - not sure if the first reviewer got a "bad tube" or what. Feels soft and soothing on, but does not last all day. Sort of feels like chapstick.

I had to write to address the "smell" issue mentioned by the other commenter. Yes, it smells sweet (and I would prefer to have no scent at all), but I don't find the smell sickeningly sweet at all. It is rather mild and is more that counteracted by the smooth and creamy application and the subtle color imparted.

That is the one thing I would note for other potential buyers, I bought the red dahlia color (and I'm asian) and the color was very slight on my lips (kind of a bitten lip effect). Perfect for me, but maybe not to everyone's liking.
