Comments about Burt's Bees Ultra Conditioning Natural Lip Balm: This product was the first and only lip balm to work on my lips when I was experiencing skin allergies this fall, including reddish chapped skin around my lips. I continue to use it (now that my allergies have cleared up) because I like its smooth texture more than the original Burt's Bees. This product does not contain peppermint oil, which I found to be irritating to my sensitive skin. Also, I like that it leaves a shine (almost like a lip gloss) so I would definitely recomment this item for women and not so much for men. The only con I can think of is that it doesn't last very long so I tend to apply it pretty often. Still, it's an amazing product and I will keep coming back for more! I've used many of the other Burt's Bees lip balms in the past and this one is my favorite. It glides on very smoothly and feels rich and velvety on your lips. Yes it is a bit greasier than most Burt Bee's balms, but the oils are what keeps it feeling moist on your lips for so long. Plant oils are good for your skin, and if you read the ingredients on the package, you'll see this balm is full of good oils. Other balms go on thick and waxy and get dry and caked up after a while, this one does not. Was this review helpful? Best Uses Comments about Burt's Bees Ultra Conditioning Natural Lip Balm: I am a huge fan of the mango butter and pomegranate/acai lip balms, but this one was just disappointing on all levels. It's way too thin and greasy, goes on slick and comes off in about 5 minutes. It has no staying power or healing ability that I noticed. When I wear it at night before bed, I wake up with very dry, crackly lips. It was very disappointing coming from Burt's! Best Uses Comments about Burt's Bees Ultra Conditioning Natural Lip Balm: I'm a big fan of the original Burt's Bees tube lip balm, as well as the pomegranate and acai berry versions of the tube balm, and was eager to try this one. Sadly, it's far from "ultra conditioning." The first few uses were great--smooth, though a bit thin and slippy--but after that, there were awful gritty bits that I could feel all over my lips. I wiped off several layers of balm, thinking debris got to it, but the grit goes all the way through the tube! I'm attempting to use it up by moisturizing my hands wit it, though I get annoyed just looking at it and thinking of the [$] I spent on it (not on this site). Stay away from this waste of money. Best Uses Comments about Burt's Bees Ultra Conditioning Natural Lip Balm: I was looking for something that would last and feel rich. The product is thin and feels like a very thin layer of oil. I use it at night and my lips are very dry in the morning. Sorry, wanted to love this one. Perhaps I need something more waxy. Comments about Burt's Bees Ultra Conditioning Natural Lip Balm: I absolutly love this lip balm. I have tried so many different lip balms and this is the first one that really works. I really like that it is natural and it lasts on my lips for so long. I have trouble with dry lips and this is the best lip balm I have found so far. I will definitly continue to use it and recommend it to any one that has dry or chapped lips. LOVE IT!!!
