Long-lasting and potent, Buzz Away Extreme repels mosquitoes, gnats, blackflies and no-see-ums for up to 4-8 hours. It even provides protection from ticks for 2 hours. For maximum protection reapply every 3.5 hours.

We have hiked through swarms of mosquitoes and gotten no bites and no buzzing around our ears. We have used in places abroad where DEET was recommended and again were protected. The towelettes are quite convenient when traveling at home or abroad and since they contain no poisons we don't mind rubbing it onto our skin. Some reviewers complained about the smell, but it's just citronella, and you get used to it. Better than toxins on your skin!

Very smelly...imagine wearing a citronella candle all over you. I brought it to a baseball game, and my friend wanted to move away from me because of the smell.

These were very effective against mosquitos on a recent trip to the Philippines. I normally don't like the smell of citronella, but I found the smell of these wipes pleasant. I like that the ingredients are natural and safe to use on my child. The individual packaging is very convenient, as I would just throw a couple of packs into my daypack each day, so I could reapply as needed, without carrying around a bulky bottle. An added plus is that you can take these on airplanes with the new rules. Fluid or lotion repellants would have to be checked in. I would definitely buy these again for travel. For home, I would get the more economical spray or lotion.

This works pretty well, but must be reapplied. I bought a bunch to leave out for guests at a party (among other bug controls!). I felt safe using it on the kids and dog.
For best results, apply to skin every 3.5 hours or more often as needed. For added protection apply to clothing. For protection against ticks, reapply every 2 hours.
