I'm forty five and DESPERATE! I'm finally giving in and seeing a dermatologist this week. I hate my acne. I thought it would go away when I was 18. Lies, all lies. Stupid zits. I want one year of nice clear skin, before I get any older. So, I bought this and prayed. I had a moon-sized zit coming in on my chin last night and it's gone! Okay, I can feel a teeny bump, but the redness and swelling is gone. I love this so much I cover all acne areas once a week, and let it sit overnight. My husband hates the smell, but I told him to buy nose plugs. It works. Is my skin magically perfect. Sigh, no, but it does not claim magical properties. Just to dry out the nasty ones that I would normally pick at (yes, at forty five). ]

Warnings: FOLLOW DIRECTIONS! I get long one sided Q-tips like Doctors use. I drop it straight in and put it on a clean (CLEAN, but not exfoliated) face before bedtime. I use a thick layer and it takes a bit to dry on me, but not on the Q-tip, so I move fast. DO NOT shake this bottle. It won't work. Leave it on your counter and let it settle. You go to sleep smelling like rotten eggs and wake up smelling like a burned out match. Not pretty, but not horrible either. A light socket smell thing in your room will cover up any unpleasant odor and you have to pay to get rid of the zits.

I wake up in the morning and wash it off and my skin looks better. Believe me, I've tried it all. I am very happy and will continue to buy this product. I am a "high end brand" girl, but in these times, I will take something that does the same job as something more expensive and glom onto it. This works as well as Mario Badescu's drying product and you may not borrow it, look at it, or think about using it if you are my sons. They can get their own.

I bought this thing thinking it would do miracles like so many of these other people had said...NOT REALLY.

IT will help against small little minuscule white heads, but I tried to put it on a red mark that was sore (it wasn't a Bump, but it was sore) and it turned into a pimple. There was no miracle. Is it less severe than it should have been? Maybe...but it didn't make the pimple disappear. This happened to me with other places, including the nose and it might work on small little raised white heads , but i believe that's as good as it gets. I tried it on other pimples (bigger ones and i saw the pimple keep growing and swell up. AS much as people say it will reduce swelling when a pimple is peaking at its biggest point , the product does nothing, it just helps dry up lowered and non swollen pimples. But it wont work on swollen big pimples.

My 15 year old son has been dealing with pretty severe and painful acne for about 3 years. We've tried prescription face creams, Skin ID, and OTC treatments, but nothing seemed to clear up his skin. I bought Bye Bye Blemish on a whim and he is so happy I did! It started working with the very first use. He can use it all over his face and it does not dry out his skin (Skin ID left his face so dry and flakey.) Seriously, he can put it on a pimple in the evening and by the next morning it's practically gone. Funny thing though, his 12 year old brother has some tiny pimples on his nose and forehead and Bye Bye Blemish doesn't do a thing for him!

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I am 27 years old, and this is the only product that helps control my acne other than benzoyl peroxide, but this doesn't bleach my towels and shirts. This also works good for me since I have sensitive skin and cannot use products with fragrance in it. It dries out my skin a lot, so to help remove the dried skin I also use the microderm abrasion kit. Exfoliants irritate my skin, but the combination of these two products and cutting out everything that has fragrance in it has helped out a ton. My acne is almost gone and my face doesn't itch any more.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I have adult acne and have been using this on the spots that will pop up on my face and chest. It doesn't make it "disappear", but it drastically reduces redness, and if you catch a zit early enough, may even make it not get red and gross like they usually do. I've definitely had a nicer completion recently. The bad thing is, it does dry your skin out, even oily skin, so keep that in mind if you wear concealers and powders.

Do not shake.
Allow sediment to settle.
Cleanse skin thoroughly before applying medication.
Dip sterile cotton swab into pink sediment.
Apply to individual pimples.
Leave on overnight.
