Cons Best Uses Comments about c. Booth Black Licorice Eye Cream, .5 fl oz: The tub is little but just a dab will do ya. Feels marvelous on my extremely sensitive skin. I can totally feel it working to soothe. I love booth products they do what they say and are wonderfully affordable. Service and delivery comments: I gotta say 2 weeks to get to my place? Really? This order took forever to get here. Usually it takes like 2 days tops. Maybe using usps is not such a great idea. (1 of 1 customers found this review helpful) Was this review helpful? Cons
Best Uses Comments about c. Booth Black Licorice Eye Cream, .5 fl oz: The labeling of intended use for this item is a bit ambiguous. It does claim to be intended for deep hydration though and that it does not do. I am 28, fair skinned, no sun damage, with one particular very fine line that arrived recently. I used this black licorice eye cream, which smells delicious, 2x daily for 2 months. There was a mild level of hydration. I really wanted to give this a lot of time to work as I love most of the C. Booth products however I have finally switched back to Neutrogena's Ageless essentials and after the first application my line is less evident and the skin around my eyes gave that odd sensation that comes from applying lotion to overly dry skin. Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend Was this review helpful? Comments about c. Booth Black Licorice Eye Cream, .5 fl oz: C. Booth's eye cream is not greasy, but it leaves my skin moisturized. I have very dry skin and it is hard to get a cream that is not immediately absorbed, but is not also too oily. I use it at night and in the morning. I can apply make-up just a few minutes after applying the eye cream. I also like the price. I have tried many more eye creams that cost a lot more. I have been seriously trying to find a good eye cream for about 4 years and I finally have. Comments about c. Booth Black Licorice Eye Cream, .5 fl oz: After trying everything from La Mer to Avon, I am a loyal user of this reasonably priced eye cream. I like the faint, very fresh licorice scent but more important, there is no stinging, just reliable moisturizing. I use it most nights around the eyes and lips. But my favorite use is in the morning: I apply a glowy serum and then tinted moisturizer to my face -- instead of makeup that settles into wrinkles or dulls the complexion. Then I smile and gently pat a little bit of this eye cream into the wrinkles under my eyes. The skin plumps up and the wrinkles appear insignificant! Some evenings I reapply before going out. The best thing about this good product is that it bolsters my confidence, and that is attractive. I am 58 and get called beautiful more often now than when I was 20:) Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend (1 of 1 customers found this review helpful) Was this review helpful? Comments about c. Booth Black Licorice Eye Cream, .5 fl oz: I was a big brand buyer until I had children : - ) Now that we are a single income household, the budget for top of the line skin care has eroded. I have tried the "good stuff" (lancome, arbonne, clinique) in the past, and this eye cream is equivalent! The price is great and I love the smell, but acknowledge that I'm in the minority of people that love black licorice! Comments about c. Booth Black Licorice Eye Cream, .5 fl oz: I love trying new eye creams for wrinkles and moisturizing. This is a white, thick cream that is OK, but it did not absorb well with my skin and did nothing to disguise, or at least lessen the under eye wrinkles. I wanted to love this product because all I heard about licorice, but I did not see any advantage to using this product and while it does not flake, it does not absorb into the skin well. Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend (2 of 2 customers found this review helpful) Was this review helpful?
