This bubble bath is the BEST! Wish I had found this product sooner. My daughter is 2 1/2 and RACES to the bath so she can play with her bubbles! Not sure why others have said there are few bubbles because we have plenty. And, once they begin to disappear, all we have to do is agitate the water again and they reappear. The smell is soothing and relaxing. Some commented that they were disappointed the scent didn't linger on their baby's skin after the bath. I personally don't want any strong fragrances lingering on my baby's skin so there won't be rashes (or even UTI's) from residual chemicals. There's no film left on the tub either. Yes, kinda pricey on this site but the product is excellent.

We tried this product out on our 3 month old. The smell is very nice: orange blossomy and sweet. The bottle states "changes mood from cranky to sweet", which is pushing it a little. The smell doesn't last once the baby is dried off, which is unfortunate because for the price, one would hope to get a little more mileage out of it. If it weren't as pricey, I would buy it again because all of the ingredients are good quality and natural, but there are other natural baby products that are just as good and less costly.

This product is decent. It smells good and I like that it is gentle. Having said that, it's just too expensive for what you get. You don't get a lot of bubbles, and it seems a lot more watery than when it first arrived on the market years ago. The packaging is cute and there is a wand in the cap that is supposed to be used to blow bubbles. What a nice touch, but it never worked for us. The 13 ounce container is good for maybe 2-3 baths (I have a large tub, so it might stretch to 5 uses or so for a standard sized tub). I'd skip this purchase. Just not worth the $, and there are many better alternatives.

When my son was first born, we used Burt's Bees wash, which we still use interchangeably at times (I shoot for natural products). However, in winter his skin was getting dry to the point of getting red bumps and he would scratch until he bled. Using a few capfuls of this in his bath instead got his skin clean and smelling fresh without drying him as much. I loved the scent, this is my favorite of the California Baby line. Some people complain on here this bubble bath doesn't foam enough. First off, foaming agents are not the part of a product that cleans you; second, synthetic foaming agents are incredibly hard on the skin. That said, I thought it produced TONS of bubbles with only three or four capfuls in our oversized tub. I think the biggest factor here is your water. The natural foaming agents are generally cancelled out by "softeners" in hard or well water. Hence, no bubbles for those guys. In my area, we have well rated city water, and it would never have crossed my mind to call it not bubbly. I really love this product!

Works like bubblebath should and I haven't noticed any irritation with either of my daughters, but we don't use it that often (like 1/week). Cost is steep though for bubblebath.

Mother of an active 7 year-old; as part of the evening wind-down we put a dollop of 'Overtired & Cranky' in 2-3 inches of warm warm water to sluice off and induce slumber in a very active (read more dirt at the base, less at the top) boy with very sensitive skin (started using this on him as an infant when he developed eczema). Absolutely love it, and don't travel without it, as he can't use general bar soaps.

When I buy this, I buy three or four at a time. I love it! It smells amazing. However, I don't use the 'recommended' amount. Otherwise the smell could be overwhelming. I pour in approx. a capful, however the cap is shallow, so it's difficult to gauge. Also - to get the bubbles going, you have to mix it with your hand when you first pour it in. Works every time. The bubbles last the duration of the bath time and the kids love the smell. Their bad moods melt away once they're in the tub.

I have not found anything that is more gentle on skin for my two little ones. They each have sensitive, eczema-prone skin, and this never causes them a problem. And the scent is heavenly! A little goes a long way. My kids love the bubble wand that is included. I have been using this product for four years and when I do try something else that is less expensive, I quickly go back. I love all the California Baby products, but this one is my favorite.

I just used this product for the first time, and my son and I had such a great time playing while he was in the tub. Two capfuls made so many bubbles, we were picking them up and putting them on each other the whole time. Those who said there weren't any bubbles must not have read and followed the directions to agitate the water while it was running. The smell may or may not actually calm a cranky baby, but it was really pleasant and I feel good putting something so safe on my baby.

Because this is not a synthetic bubble bath you must help the bubbling process by shaking/agitating bubbles under vigorously running water at the start of tub filling. When adding our essential oil blends, drop into bath once bubble level has been reached.
