It completely gets rid of any of this overnight. Applyingi a thin coat daily helps prevent the irritation in the first place. I highly recommend it - the lavender, tea tree oil, calendula and possibly other ingredients give it natural antibacterial/antifungal properties, which is why it worksk so well for the aforementioned. I've been thru a couple dozen tubes in the past 10 years, and I have NEVER had one that was too thin as some others have described. Even with shaking the tube, I still got a watery glop of cream as I tried to squeeze it out. I wasn't too happy when the cream fell on my black pants at a diaper changing. I like the consistency of Burt's Bees diaper ointment better. It sticks to the skin through the night unlike California Baby. Comments about California Baby Diaper Rash Cream, Calming, 2.9 oz: I am a first time mom so did tons of research while I was pregnant looking up baby products. Many moms recommended using the California baby diaper wash and diaper rash cream with every diaper change and then use the calendula cream if and when an actual diaper rash breaks out. Since so many moms recommended this it is what I bought and am still using 5 months later. We've not had an outbreak of diaper rash once thank goodness! I love this diaper cream as its thick enough to coat his skin and doesn't absorb as quickly as some of the other natural creams out there. I'm stocking up b/c last time I tried to order Drugstore.com was out! Pros Cons
Best Uses Comments about California Baby Diaper Rash Cream, Calming, 2.9 oz: I loved this stuff until my daughter started crying when I used it. She says "bootie hurts" and screams when I pull it out. I will never use this again. Pros
Cons Best Uses Comments about California Baby Diaper Rash Cream, Calming, 2.9 oz: We have an on-the-go toddler who fights diaper changes like it's his job. So, every once in a while if he sits in his cloth diaper a little too long, he'll get a tiny bit of redness. Apply about a dime-sized amount of this amazing cream to a clean bottom and by the next dipe change he has perfect skin again! Great smelling, great on delicate skin, great for cloth diapers (though I recommend for all), great ingredients, great product! Pros
Cons Best Uses Comments about California Baby Diaper Rash Cream, Calming, 2.9 oz: I use this whenever my baby develops irritation in the diaper area. Compared to mainstream diaper creams like A&D or Desitin, this has a much nicer texture. It's creamy without being greasy. The smell is great. Also, this product is cloth-diaper friendly (petroleum free) so no need to worry about residue on your reusable diapers. Pros

Best Uses Comments about California Baby Diaper Rash Cream, Calming, 2.9 oz: I loved the smell of this product, but it burned my son's skin when I put it on his rash. It may be ok to use if no rash is present, but probably not good for use on sensitive skin. Pros Cons Best Uses

Comments about California Baby Diaper Rash Cream, Calming, 2.9 oz: This cream works GREAT to get rid of my daughter's diaper rashes and it works fast. I can use it with my cloth diapers which is amazing and it smells great. I've tried others brands that can be used with cloth diapers and been less than impressed. This is an awesome product. A++!!! Best Uses Comments about California Baby Diaper Rash Cream, Calming, 2.9 oz: I use this as a daily diaper cream for my son. For redness and diaper rash issues I use Desitin, but for regular daily use this is less greasy and smells much better. I also feel better about the all-natural ingredients in it. The only real negative is that it costs a lot. Pros

Comments about California Baby Diaper Rash Cream, Calming, 2.9 oz: I'm so glad to have discovered this product. I have always been partial to Desitin in the past because it does a good job; however, Desitin was not compatible with our Bum Genius diapers. So, we found this product that works with cloth diapers and contains zinc .... I couldn't be more pleased. We use it every diaper change. If I miss even once her little baby bottom gets red. Great preventative. I do wish it came in a bigger tube, though. ![]() |
