I have a 3 year old and an 18 month old and wanted a sunscreen without dangerous chemicals but one that was strong enough to protect their super-fair skin (after being inside in cold NYC all winter) from the FL sun. I was a little concerned from some of the reviews that it would be pasty thick, but it was creamy and flowed out easily. You have to rub a little more than with chemical sunscreens but the difference isn't at all dramatic and what wouldn't you do for your kids to be safe? We swam a ton and it stayed on. I'm proud to say my kids are as pale as they were when we left! :) One piece of advice - put it on before you dress your kids. It does look pearly white on clothes or rashers or bathing suits. Comments about California Baby Everyday/Year Round Moisturizing Sunscreen, SPF 30, 2.9 oz: I've been using this on my fair skinned 2 year old and now my 6 month old. The first sunscreen I feel good about putting on them! Rubs in well (yes, it is white when first applied), covers easily, smells great and doesn't seem to bother the 2 year old's eyes. I haven't yet used it for swimming, so I don't know how it holds up there. As a redhead with history of melanoma, I can say I would definitely recommend this product. Pros

Comments about California Baby Everyday/Year Round Moisturizing Sunscreen, SPF 30, 2.9 oz: I love this sunscreen lotion and it's lemony smell. Soooo fresh and yummy! Comments about California Baby Everyday/Year Round Moisturizing Sunscreen, SPF 30, 2.9 oz: I bought this to use as a sunscreen for myself because of all the all-natural ingredients. True, it does have a pleasant smell, but the thick, white greasy residue could not be rubbed into dissapearance on my already very pale skin. I tried using it once and left the bottle at the guesthouse I was staying at. I can see how this would be perfect for little ones who don't mind running around covered in white all day! Pros

Comments about California Baby Everyday/Year Round Moisturizing Sunscreen, SPF 30, 2.9 oz: This sunblock kept my very pale children burn and freckle free for an entire week at the beach. It smells nice and lasts a long time. We only had to re-apply after swimming. I loved knowing I was not slathering my kids with tons of chemicals. This is the only sunblock I will use now. Pros

Comments about California Baby Everyday/Year Round Moisturizing Sunscreen, SPF 30, 2.9 oz: Good for kids who can't see that their skin is still white after rubbing it in. A very good sunscreen and probably safer than most. But hard for adults to get used to with the white stuff remaining on their skin all day. At the end of the day I found white residue still on my neck! Pros

Comments about California Baby Everyday/Year Round Moisturizing Sunscreen, SPF 30, 2.9 oz: we try to save money where we can, but certain products need to be invested properly in.suncreen is one of them.i feel this is a great, safe product for my young son.it protects him well and i dont worry he will burn.unfortunately its pricey, so watch for it to go on sale [...].tends to be a bit hard to rub in, but thats not a big concern for us.we just want our sons skin to be healthy and safe.
