Age: The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) states that if exposure to the sun is unavoidable and your baby is under 6 months, a non-chemical sunscreen (like ours) should be used; consult with your physician. The AAP recommends that because an infant's skin is very thin and sensitive, infants under 6 months should be kept out of the sun.
Scent: No fragrance or scent masking agents.
For Use: Face and body. Does not sting the eyes! For year-round use.
SPF Protection Level: Provides moderate-level protection against sunburn.

Whether you have sensitive skin or just like your UV protection without scent, our all-star SPF 18 has got you covered. It's ultra-light and sheer, making it ideal for use on the face and can easily double as a morning moisturizer. Packaged with a convenient pump that locks for safe travel- it's perfectly portable! Formulated without PABA or invasive chemicals, our silky SPF18 moisturizing lotion is simple and elegant utilizing a micronized titanium dioxide. It sits on top of the skin scattering and reflecting dangerous UVA-UVB rays, providing broad-spectrum protection. Non-staining.
For Grownups:
Double duty as a light moisturizer.
Works great under make-up; our non-greasy, sheer finish helps "brighten" the skin!
Perfect protection on overcast days.
Don't forget that when traveling in a car you are exposed to UV rays.
Tip:
Wearing a hat and sunglasses is an important part of sun safety.
Winter use: Since studies show that the risk of sunburn increases at higher altitudes, it's especially important to wear sunscreen on the slopes. Even if you stay at the same elevation all winter long, don't let winter's chill fool you, the sun is still strong and can do lots of damage to your skin. The gentle water resistant formula won't drip into your eyes and sting when you sweat. Clouded vision from runny sunscreen is annoying on the beach and on the ski slopes it can be downright dangerous. Our moisturizing sunscreen helps keep skin from chapping from exposure to the elements.

Comments about California Baby Super Sensitive Moisturizing Sunscreen SPF 18+, No Fragrance:
This is my first try at a non-chemical sunscreen, after reading the Environmental Working Group report about hormone disruptors (oxybenzone in particular0. This sunscreen takes a little longer to sink or blend in to my skin than the Neutrogena I'd been using, but it does disappear after a bit of rubbing. It seems to be less sweatproof, but we're also in the middle of a heat wave. So, not perfect, but reasonably good. I'll try other zinc/titanium screens, but am not unhappy with this one.
Comments about California Baby Super Sensitive Moisturizing Sunscreen SPF 18+, No Fragrance:
I have tried a ton of paraben-free sunscreens, and as a light-skinned person its been a bit of a rough road. I got this for a trip to Puerto Vallarta because its a bit larger than others and the pump seemed like a nice feature. It is a thicker cream, and some people don't like that. I will say though I usually prefer something lighter, this did rub in well and the thickness allowed me to be sure that I didn't miss anywhere. It leaves a bit of a white residue (as most natural sunscreens do), but as it soaks in this is less apparent. I apply my sunscreen before putting on my bathing suit and wait 20 mins before going in the sun, and noticed it seemed completely absorbed by the time I got down to the pool. It worked pretty well, I reapplied once the first two days and used a hot spot stick in SPF30 on my shoulders and knees and chest (where I tend to burn) after an hour or so. After that one application was enough for the whole day, even with some trips into the pool. Overall its a good value and effective, safe sunscreen so I will use it again.

I bought this for my two kids both of whom have sensitive and eczema prone skin. This cream works great, easy to apply, good protection for when they are not spending all day outside but just some time at the park so the 18SPF works for us for a short sun exposure. Most importantly, does not dry out their skin and has no bad chemicals.
Comments about California Baby Super Sensitive Moisturizing Sunscreen SPF 18+, No Fragrance:
I tried this sunscreen on my 3-year-old daughter several times, but it made her face break out every time. Since it is expensive, I'll just use it on her body instead of throwing it away.
Dab onto desired areas; smooth out evenly with fingers or a cosmetic sponge. For extra dry skin, apply moisturizer first, allow to dry then apply sunscreen.
