California Baby Super Sensitive Moisturizing Sunscreen SPF 18+, No Fragrance 4.5 fl oz (135 ml)our price: $19.99 in stock Reviewed by 7 customers Sort by Displaying reviews 1-7 Pros Cons Best Uses Comments about California Baby Super Sensitive Moisturizing Sunscreen SPF 18+, No Fragrance: This is my first try at a non-chemical sunscreen, after reading the Environmental Working Group report about hormone disruptors (oxybenzone in particular0. This sunscreen takes a little longer to sink or blend in to my skin than the Neutrogena I'd been using, but it does disappear after a bit of rubbing. It seems to be less sweatproof, but we're also in the middle of a heat wave. So, not perfect, but reasonably good. I'll try other zinc/titanium screens, but am not unhappy with this one. Pros

Comments about California Baby Super Sensitive Moisturizing Sunscreen SPF 18+, No Fragrance: I have tried a ton of paraben-free sunscreens, and as a light-skinned person its been a bit of a rough road. I got this for a trip to Puerto Vallarta because its a bit larger than others and the pump seemed like a nice feature. It is a thicker cream, and some people don't like that. I will say though I usually prefer something lighter, this did rub in well and the thickness allowed me to be sure that I didn't miss anywhere. It leaves a bit of a white residue (as most natural sunscreens do), but as it soaks in this is less apparent. I apply my sunscreen before putting on my bathing suit and wait 20 mins before going in the sun, and noticed it seemed completely absorbed by the time I got down to the pool. It worked pretty well, I reapplied once the first two days and used a hot spot stick in SPF30 on my shoulders and knees and chest (where I tend to burn) after an hour or so. After that one application was enough for the whole day, even with some trips into the pool. Overall its a good value and effective, safe sunscreen so I will use it again. Pros

Comments about California Baby Super Sensitive Moisturizing Sunscreen SPF 18+, No Fragrance: I bought this for my two kids both of whom have sensitive and eczema prone skin. This cream works great, easy to apply, good protection for when they are not spending all day outside but just some time at the park so the 18SPF works for us for a short sun exposure. Most importantly, does not dry out their skin and has no bad chemicals. Pros

Best Uses Comments about California Baby Super Sensitive Moisturizing Sunscreen SPF 18+, No Fragrance: I tried this sunscreen on my 3-year-old daughter several times, but it made her face break out every time. Since it is expensive, I'll just use it on her body instead of throwing it away. Displaying reviews 1-7 ![]() |
