I'm very impressed with the Caltrate Plus Chewables. I love the assorted fruit flavors. It doesn't have a chalky taste, and once I began taking them, I looked forward to taking these delicious little wafers twice a day. I feel good, and I'm doing something good for my body! On a scale from 1 to 10, I'd give these delicious chewable dietary supplements a big 10! I gave one to my mother and mother-in-law, and they're going to buy some too. Thank you for introducing this product to me!

With a family history of osteoporosis, plus being lactose intolerant, I've been taking calcium supplements for several years. This product, when taken twice daily, will satisfy my body's need for calcium. Unfortunately, the taste and texture made me tempted to skip a few doses. The chewable, fruit flavored tablets are large and chalky tasting. I've taken other chewable calcium supplements that aren't chalky. So I wouldn't recommend this particular product to friends and family. (Although an unexpected benefit was an increase in my water consumption, as I'd gulp down a glass of water after each tablet!)

The chewable Caltrate is an easy way to take calcium as a supplement. it also contains Vit. D, which is necessary for calcium to be absorbed into the bones. Calcium has a tendency to cause sluggish bowels, so I would highly recommend increasing the dietary fiber, or adding a teaspoon of Benefiber,totally tasteless, to your morning beverage. Calcium is very necessary to maintain healthy bones and prevent osteoporosis, this product is the best and easiest way to do that.

I have tried many calcium supplements and I always come back to this one. It is easy to take, tastes good - no chalky taste like some of the others, and seems to do the trick.

In October 2003, my bone density tested at -1.9. Apparently -1 is normal. I began taking tablet calcium supplements (the type you swallow whole). In October 2004, my bone density tested at -2 (even with increased, regular exercise). I began taking these chewable supplements in April 2005 - though only 1 per day. I just had my bone density checked last week and it is up to -1.76! The doctor said this puts me back into a normal range! I'm definitely going to keep taking these supplements. They really work and I like the taste, too.

Caltrate Plus Calcium Supplements were a tasty treat to take. There was no chalky aftertaste. I looked forward to taking the next one. They didn't make me feel like they were something I "had to take" to make me healthy. They were something I wanted to take. I'd recommend this to my family and friends for sure!

I personally liked this product. I've been looking for a calcium tablet to take and this fits the bill. The texture and taste of the tablets were fine. The only thing that may be a problem for some people is the size of the tablets. They're quite large. When I first saw them, I thought this would bother me but, in fact, the size of the tablet wasn't an issue for me. I'd recommend this product to my friends and family.

I really like the Caltrate Plus Calcium Supplement. The taste was very good, and the texture was pleasing. Not chalky tasting at all. It comes in variety of flavors, and each of the flavors were really tasty. I'll continue to buy this and recommend the Caltrate Plus Chew to my family and friends.

I like the idea of chewing a calcium supplement. I have trouble swallowing pills, and chewing is much easier. However, these pills were very large. They took a while to chew up and had a very "chalky" taste. The fruit flavoring was very artificial.
