I have to consume a large amount of calcium daily. This product works perfectly for me. I don't have to swallow a bunch of pills. The chewable tablets taste good.

Often when taking other medications, they leave a horrible taste in my mouth. I follow those up with a Caltrate chewable, and a pleasant taste remains.

These tastes great. I love that they are chewable and can be taken w/o water. Not quite a sweet tart, but almost, and enough to make it a treat.

Several years ago I had a sterling bone scan. It was taken at an early age due to my use of steroidal inhalers. At that time, the doctor recommended I start taking a calcium supplement knowing I would be continuing my use of steroidal inhalers - steroids reduce calcium absorbsion for bone maintenance. The supplement I chose was one I thought I would enjoy (chewable & mocha flavored), but I soon found myself forgetting more & more often. When I did remember, I really wasn't thrilled to take them after all, so I just gave up and gave the remainder of the supplements to my Mom.

Along comes the onset of Real health problems. My nephrologist found that I had low blood Calcium levels (along with a few other surprises and non-surprises). Now I REALLY have to remember to take my calcium supplement, so I looked at all the choices on Drugstore.com and found these. After a slight adjustment to the flavor/texture or something, these became something to actually look forward to! I also take a small chewable Vitamin C to go with them to promote further absorbsion.

I really appreciate that these aren't more pills to take. I like all the flavors and cherish the variety. Now taking my Calcium is something to look forward to and is NOT FORGETTABLE!! This is so very important in everyones lives these days!!

I take 1 of these calcium tablets per day as I also get calcium from other foods in my diet.

I bought them based on the fact that a.) I can't swallow large pills like other calcium supplements and b.) some reviewers said they tasted like sweet tarts/candy

These don't taste like sweet tarts or candy to me, they are very chalky and I usually down a bottle of water to get through them.

I can't wait until I finish this bottle so I can find a different supplement. I just saw that Caltrate has easier to swallow small tablets which I will probably try next.
