I bought this product not knowing much about calcium supplements, just that I needed one. This product is calcium carbonate which is the most common form of calcium but is not well absorbed by the body. Calcium citrate is the calcium that is the best form for absorption. I found this out by researching online after taking one of these chewables and having horrible stomach pains and gas. The pain lasted all night, and I will never take this supplement again. There are other products, including chewable, with calcium citrate so I will be trying that instead.

I have a very hard time swallowing any type of pill. This chewable caIcium tablet is an excellent form. I take one tablet twice a day. Very easy to chew, swallow. No grainy aftertaste. It is recommended to use dairy to enhance absorption of vitamin D, so I follow it with a cup of cappuccino in the morning and yogurt in the eve.

My doctor advised me to take these after surgery when I didn't want to take the narcotic pain reliever but still needed something for pain. They work great! I only take this form of advil because the regular form of it can cause stomach irritation for me.

For me, doctor recommended to keep bones strong. Chews easily, no strange feel in the month and tastes so good. I use it as desert after eating. Helps me forget about what I really want for desert.

This is a great product if you do not like taking pills, althought, the tablets are a bit hard to chew, where they are thick, but the taste is great. I break my up so they can be chewed and swallows easlily.
