Sweet and medium-bodied Papua New Guinea coffee is a favorite among our customers. Papua New Guinea coffee is versatile enough for a distinguished cup of morning coffee or as a smooth after dinner coffee served with dessert. Known for its richness and crisp, clean finish, Papua New Guinea medium roast coffee has subtle chocolaty tones. This unique coffee is grown in Papua New Guinea Highlands and was first planted in Wau in the 1930's from seeds imported from Jamaica's Blue Mountain region.

Comments about Camano Island Coffee Roasters Organic Gound Coffee, Papua New Guinea/Medium Roast, 1 lb:
Decided to give this coffee a try. It's a bit pricey but definitely has a wonderful flavor more unique than I've experienced. I mostly am a morning coffee drinker, not always paying attention to taste. This particular brew surprised me with a definite flavor I hadn't found in other coffees. I really looked forward to morning coffee to enjoy its taste, not just a morning jolt. It's truly medium - a great blend of bold and mild. Try it.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Use 1 to 2 tablespoons of ground coffee for every six ounces of water. Water temperature between 195 - 205 degrees Fahrenheit for optimal extraction. Contact time of 2-4 minutes for a press pot (18-26 seconds for espresso method). Enjoy immediately and never reheat!
