I just need more moisture than my pale faced peers, it's that simple. Curly/wavy hair is difficult to tame when you have as much volume as I do. After reading the reviews on this product, I decided to try it for my relaxed hair. After two weeks I saw a decrease in shedding and my edges started to slowly regain thickness and wasn't as sparse looking anymore. I use it to grease my scalp the night before my relaxer and I don't get burned at all, and I've notice that my relaxer comes out much better. I've turned both my sisters and my mom on to this product and they're all happy with the results. Even my stylist has started using it as a base before a relaxer. The product seems to have been altered in a bad way. It is now white and reeks havov on my hair making it unmanageable and I can no longer use it before I flat press my hair and it no longer gives a sheen.

This product adds a nice shine to your hair. I think the smell is nice but a little over powering once it's applied for the first couple of hours. Of course this leaves a type of film in your hair, nothing that will flake out or is overly greasy or oily. If I run my fingers through my hair I don't feel the need to wash them or dry them off. It feels more like a light moisturizer.

Even the consistency has changed. I almost thought I ordered the break cure strengthening treatment. Where the old formula left my hair soft and moisturized, the new formula leaves my hair dry and brittle. And I applied this product to my freshly washed and conditioned hair! Pros

I am so DISAPPOINTED it now leaves my hair dry and hard I don't know what the hell happened but I don't like it any more. It used to be cream in colour and now it is white and not as creamy as it used to be. Cantu makers I don't know what the [*] you did with this batch but you better get back to the original formula.
