This product works okay, but its definitely not the best conditioner I've ever used. It works better as a leave in conditioner than it does as a rinse out. I have African American 3A/4C hair, and it was just okay for me. It made my hair feel soft and moisturized while it was in my hair, but after I washed it out their wasnt much to it. As a leave in conditioner my hair was soft all day, and it smelled amazing. It's worth a try if you want to try something new, but I wont be repurchasing it.

This conditioner is the best one I have ever used! My hair absolutely LOVES it! I am transitioning from relaxed hair to natural hair and its great for both textures (straight relaxed ends and curly roots). It's so moisturizing and softens up my roots aswell as my ends. I have been using it as a leave-in conditioner but it still lingers it's moisturizing abilities once you rinse it out. I gave also used it to deep condition and I get good-smelling, soft, manageable, tangle-free, and moisturized hair. I would absolutely recommend it and now I am going to order the other products in the line!

I just happened to use this conditioner while at my granny's place and I was instantly in love.

I use it for my Wednesday co-wash. I believe that my hair is type 4 and this just gives my TWA some cute coils. They look as if I had actually coiled them using my fingers or a comb.

I do not really like the scent. I believe it is the concentration of the pure shea butter in there that smells that way. But after it is rinsed out the scent disappears.

I do not use it more often because of the silicones in it. Not that I noticed any negative effects but I have heard that silicone causes alot of build up.

It works well for my wash and gos! When I rinse it out I just apply some olive oil and go!

I really love Cantu's products. Not only does it smell good, it leaves your hair feel weightless and soo soft!! I wouldn't recommend it if you have fine hair because its very oily (well, depends on your hair). I have the whole collection except the hair milk (I heard that's pretty good). It really does leave your hair nice and soft. Oh, the leave-in treatment is to die for.

My BFF and I both started using this product but unfortunately for her the conditioner tangles her hair but my experience is quite the opposite. Another thing i noticed too my hair usually grows fast but i find when using this product it seems to slow down the growth. I had really long hair and recently been going on a cutting rampage but slowed down because I wanted it to grow back but its taking a long time. The only thing that could come to mind is this product. Hmmm, well, try it and see if this happens to you...if not, i despise you. lol. But in all i recommend you give it a shot.

I use this conditioner in conjunction with a lighter one, this is quite heavy for my hair type, but it enhances my current conditioner's benefits. It leaves my hair extra soft, smooth and healthy looking.

i love this product iam a african american women who uses relaxers and i usually get a relaxer every 6-8 weeks but now that iam pregnant i have gone about 16weeks without a relaxer all i do is shampoo and use this product it makes my hair so soft i can air dry my hair and it feels like silk it is so worth the money

I thought for the price... this product was pretty good. Could be a lot better. The softening is short lived. It's too bad... really could be a good product!

I used some shampoo and conditioner in a hotel once that had she butter in it and LOVED it. This is the only product that I can find that HAS shea butter in it. I LOVE LOVE LOVE it. I use it along with my regular shampoo and conditioner, using it just before rinsing my hair after shampooing or conditioning. IT leaves my hair soft and managemable.
