I have arthritis in both knees. Today I put it on my knees according to the directions. I noticed almost no difference in pain, but OMG, the SMELL! A very heavy menthol odor that I couldn't get rid of. This site's product info says, "Light, clean scent." Ha. If I still had the reciept I'd send it back.

It was easy to apply but using it on my arthritic hand was a problem because of tranfering it to other parts of my body unintentionally. I felt I could not use it while caring for my infant, again afraid it might transfer to the baby.

I can't say that it helped the pain because the heat was so intense I found myself concentrating on it more than the pain.

I suffer from both osteo- and rheumatoid arthritis. Recently, pain in my knees made it hard to do anything, from getting out of bed in the morning to getting back into it at night. I tried this product, hoping that it might relieve the pain somewhat.

I used the sponge applicator to spread a small amount of product all around the most painful knee. I stood up, and the pain was gone. Not eased, but completely eliminated!

I will never be without this again!

I suffer from chronic neck and shoulder pain and elbow tendonitis. I'm a 67 year old female active tennis player, and I want to stay that way. I love products with capsaicin, like this one, because I enjoy the sensation of heat that they provide. I can feel my muscles warming, loosening up and the pain going away. I have read medical articles that state capsaicin will eventually after 4 days of use actually decrease the pain receptors. Unfortunately, if you get any capsaicin near your eyes or nose it really stings! This product avoids that problem by allowing me to apply the gel without using my hands so I can play tennis or type without getting grease or gel on my possessions. It's really fast and easy to apply. It doesn't stain. The only problems I noticed are: sponge is fragile so you have to avoid twisting when using, it's somewhat liquid, so if you put on a lot your clothing might get wet (use tissue or hand to wipe off excess), it gets used up about twice as fast as the capsaicin in a tube. But it's very fast acting compared to the tube, so I love it.
