I honestly don't understand any negative comments here (although most are very positive). I use protein powders and shakes a lot, and this is one of the better tasting! Protein shakes are NOT milk shakes and don't taste like one, folks! Be realistic! You're on a diet (or maintaing your weight!). These shakes mix up easily, and really do keep me full for a few hours. I often add about 1 oz of heavy cream for a little richer shake. Couple of ice cubes, 8 oz of water, and we're good. Even throw in a couple strawberries, etc. A decent alternative to a much higher calorie/carb meal. Try it.

I have a Braun hand held blender that is perfect for these types of shakes. I definitely recommend using something like this to mix it up. It made the shake very creamy. I think it tastes great! I want to lose 10-15 lbs that I have put on in the last year. I am going thru menopause and find that I am hungry a lot so I know I am overeating. I am trying a low carb high protein diet. I find that these shakes make me feel full. I am drinking 2 shakes per day - I'll have 2 eggs for breakfast, a shake mid-morning, burger (no bun) for lunch, another shake mid-afternoon. By evening, I am not starving like I have been this past year. For dinner, more protein and some veggies. I am a chocoholic and this shake definitely satisfies my daily craving for it. I haven't tried to mix without the blender, so if it doesn't mix well by hand, you may want to try that.

This product does not taste good by itself and water. You really need to mix it with 1% milk and a little Slim Fast to make the perfect flavor and thickness which makes it truly replace a meal.I have bought this product from Drugstore.com for [$] in the past - it is now a lot more expensive ([$]).

Carb Solution is the easy way to stay on a healthy meal plan. I have cut sugar from my diet. I am using Carb Solution to replace 2 meals daily, sometimes as a snack. I began using this product about three years ago as a low carb meal replacement for one or two meals a day. That, and walking two miles a day, helped me lose almost forty pounds. After I lost the weight, I've continued to drink it and the vanilla version to help me maintain my weight. I'm "good" through the week (Monday through Friday) by combining Carb Solutions shakes with low carb dinners. I eat whatever I want from Friday night through Sunday. It takes discipline, but I really feel that I'm in control of my weight for the first time in my adult life. I mix the product in a plastic cocktail shaker with ice cold water. The solution thickens up after a minute or two and serves as a great meal replacement. It's easy to carry on the road in a small ice chest and helps avoid the need to pull in to a fast food chain when hunger strikes. Very little good stuff in those places. Good luck, it can be done.

I've used Carb solutions as a breakfast drink for 15 years or so. The chocolate flavor isn't as good as the vanilla - as a stand alone mix - but if you do one scoop of each, it makes a great mocha flavor. I can't say enough about this stuff, I can't imagine my weekday mornings without it. : )

It's not the best mix I've ever purchased. The pre-mixed shakes are good, which is why I bought the powder, but I won't be buying the powder again.
