Here's what I can see over the past few years using this product. This product is no long sold in stores, like CVS,but the machine is still sold in CVS. Then there are times the blood gets stuck in the blood collector so much that not enough blood gets on the strip. After the first box, 3 uses, we realized we had to get a separate needle gun and needles, the needle prickers with this package here barely draw blood for the test. Now for the machine itself- sometimes before I can draw the blood the machine decides to go the SLEEP. Needs a longer go the sleep mechanism, if I turn it on, don't go to sleep till I take out the top cartridge.

The price is very reasonable. I could hardly find the strips where I live & when I finally found them they were double the price of drugstore.com. I'm coming here for now on.

I love this Cholesterol testing kit, along with the Triglyceride and HDL testing kits I use of the same brand. These kits are very practical and money saving, compared to having a doctor or lab test and read your results.

Product as stated above; sometimes it's on target and other times it's way off. I think it depends on how you get the blood on the strip, and how much blood you get on it.

Also, I read a comment about products being sent that are about to expire; well I also was sent these strips and they will expire in three months; I purchased two boxes; which means I need to use all six in three months. I won't buy from drugstore .com again. I'd rather spend the money at retail and have them not expire in three months time. I'd imagine they send out all products that are about to expire. Not Pleased at all!

Great way to self test. I love this product, but the materials are a little expensive. At [$] a test, it is hard to do this type of testing as often as I'd like to.Also, this is only 1 of 3 tests, so [$] / test is high. STILL, it is significantly cheaper than the doctor. AND my number with this test were within 5 points of the test from my DR. GREAT PRODUCT.

easy to use. i just had mine checked by doctor. exact number. great for keeping track on your own. will buy again!!

these cholesterol test strips are extremely helpful. because of my cholesterol i have to be tested monthly, so i use these strips weekly to track changes in my diet, and how supplements and exercise affect my serum lipids. i fast when i use these in order to maintain accuracy with my doctors tests, however it might be useful to not fast for some people.

I was disappointed in what seemed to be older off the shelf items.
The experation date was a lot sooner than expected. Only about
6 months for a double order

Had my cholesterol checked by my Doc. and this product on the same morning. Readings were within two count of each other.
