When you stick you finger, DO NOT SQUEEZE THE BLOOD DROP OUT. Let it simply come out by holding your hand at your sides. When you squeeze the blood out, it forces other bodily fluids out that taint the results. At [$] a test, it is hard to do this type of testing as often as I'd like to.Also, this is only 1 of 3 tests, so [$] / test is high. STILL, it is significantly cheaper than the doctor. Comments about CardioChek Cholesterol Test Strips, 3 ea: these cholesterol test strips are extremely helpful. because of my cholesterol i have to be tested monthly, so i use these strips weekly to track changes in my diet, and how supplements and exercise affect my serum lipids. i fast when i use these in order to maintain accuracy with my doctors tests, however it might be useful to not fast for some people.
