I love to use this as hand soap in my bathroom, especially during the winter. My skin gets extra dry from late Fall through early Spring and this soap keeps my skin from drying and cracking. It smells clean and fresh and not too girly so my husband doesn't mind using it either. It reduces the amount of lotion I have to use to keep my hands soft. I just wish we had this at my job too, I might just have to bring my own!

I have always loved Caress soap. The bar is available in other fragrances that I alternate with the original, but the original fragrance is still my favorite. It leaves a light, clean, powdery smell that doesn't clash with my colognes and perfumes. I usually follow with an unscented body lotion post-shower.

Moisture: like many products billed as being moisturizing, it still dries out my skin. Not surprising given the ingredients. I prefer products that leave out all the junk that can dry my skin, like Kiss My Face bar soap, or Dr. Bronners.

Smell: The smell is overwhelming - they added way too much perfume, like it's for people with desensitized olfactory nerves. My bedroom, bath, and hall wreaked. I was embarassed to have any guests over until I got rid of the smell. Also, it smells like a disgusting cheap perfume. Also, I don't like my perfume (that actually smells good) to have to compete with the nasty smell of Caress. I can't imagine why they made the intensity so overpowering. And even if I did like the smell - which I don't - why would I want to smell like Caress EVERY DAY? I prefer to mix up fragrances depending on occassion (e.g., work versus evening out versus summer picnic).

This product is great and I've actually stopped using my expensive shower gels to use this product. It seems to clear any blemishes I have on my body.

I have used Caress all my life and I swear it has kept my skin soft and smooth. I can't use anything else, any other "bar" soap leaves my skin feeling sticky or dry or like there is a film.

I cannot stress how much I love the scent of this soap. I use both the soap and the shower gel because, even though they smell similar, there is still a difference & I much rather prefer the scent of the soap but the ease of the body wash. if I could give this soap 100 billion stars, I would. I wish they would just give it up and make it into a perfume already haha. anyways, the soap cleans very effectively without drying out my skin, which is a big plus. if you've never smelled the soap, I suggest you just buy it because you won't be sorry. yes, that's how truly wonderful this is and as long as Caress keeps making Daily Silk, I'm gonna buy it no matter what =)

This is the first bar soap I purchased after relocating to this country 10 years ago. The pleasant, comforting smell would soothe my homesickness every time I used it, and I'm glad they still make this so I can revisit my scent memory any time I want.

On top of being a part of my favorite memories, the product is very non-drying. I sometimes skip body lotion and this is one of few soaps that don't make my skin itchy when I do. Given how moisturizing it is, it doesn't melt away too quickly and retains its shape well as long as you keep it in a dry soap dish. The color also makes it go well with most bathroom decoration color schemes. All in all, this is one of my favorite bath products.

My grandmother used this soap so I have been using it for about 30 years. Its still my favorite. I've tried other soaps that really make feel dry and itchy and tight but I never have that problem with Caress. And I love the smell.

I do love Caress soap....such a great smell and skin softening..only problem, don't drop it in tub as it melts away quickly.

Very moisturizing with a great scent. Doesn't leave any film behind and the scent which is light tends to linger for several hours. I love this stuff.
