I buy several of these every year and put them in every drawer in the house...put one in my car, one in my desk at work and one in my purse. I don't want to be without it. It is the only thing that works on my winter-time chapped lips.

I don't like this, but my daughter won't use anything else. It feels greasy on my lips, and doesn't help my cold sores at all. The only reason I gave it 3 stars is that my daughter likes it, so it must have some redeeming value for some people.

I'm surprised how much I love this product. I got it at a great price, which was really the reason I bought it. However, I am very impressed and will definitely buy it again. The salicylic acid does a great job of gently exfoliating, and the touch of menthol is so cooling and refreshing to my lips. I love it!

This is a great product, and I have been using it for years. HOWEVER, I would agree that the salicylic acid is a weird ingredient in a lip balm, and probably is what causes it to be "addictive." I would recommend Rosebud's Menthol Salve; it is slightly more expensive, but lasts longer (not as addictive!) and better for your lips in the long run.

I've been using this stuff for over 20 years. There's nothing on the market that works this good. If you slather some on at night, you'll wake up with very soft lips. Although I don't mind the flavor, it would be great if they could come up with something else too. LOVE it!

Yeeach!! This lip balm tastes pretty bad. Every time I put it on even a little, I would have a crayon taste in my mouth. This thing has camphor which may sooth skin temporarily, but constant use would actually make it an irritant. Also, why is there Salicylic acid in this? That ingredient would make your lips worse by making it peel even more when it's already chapped and it did happen to me. That sucks! Carmex should rethink the ingredients here, perhaps put a sunscreen. Anyway, it smells good and it's cheap compared to others, so I give it 2 stars.

This is a great product!! I love it! I started using it once my friend recomended it. I love the cool rush feeling you get when you first put it on. I also use it for pimples, because it's got salicylic acid! Try it!!

This is the best treatment for dry and chapped lips. The soothing, cooling effect is instant. Highly recommended product.

I am addicted to Carmex, and this same addiction is spreading to my family and friends as they try Carmex too. I have tubes and tubes of it all over my house- in my car, purse, briefcase, and my desk at work. It keeps my lips soft and smooth. Excellent product.

Carmex is truly a comfort to have in my pocket. It is so refreshing, and does a great job moisturizing my lips. I have also used it on dry spots on other parts of my body. It can be habit forming.
