I've tried lots of alternatives, from other lip balms to expensive lipsticks. Carmex Original stays on my lips and softens them longer and better than anything else. VS Most Liked Negative Review Not the greatest, but... At first I loved this product, however I was back and forth on if I liked the menthol taste of it. While it can be soothing at times, it makes it a bit messy...Read complete review At first I loved this product, however I was back and forth on if I liked the menthol taste of it. While it can be soothing at times, it makes it a bit messy and sticky for kissable lips. This healed at first, but after a while it felt like it made my already chapped lips worse. I prefer the jar to the tip applicator. This got messy after applying it directly to my lips. I found that I had to pul it on my finger anyway before I put it on my lips just so the applicator wouldn't get all gooey. Bottom line is if you like the menthol thing give it a try.
