Honestly, Carmex is a staple in my household. I have used it since I was 13, which is for over 40 years now. I enjoy all the different flavors but the consistent quality is what makes it the best product. It does the job better than any other product.
I tried this out of curiosity. I like the traditional, but my number one preference was the vanilla when it came out because I felt it moisturized better the pomegranate moisturizes just as well with a fun, fruity flavor.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
