Servings: 2-3 (About 12 patties); 1 cup falafel mix; 1/2 cup water. 4-6 (About 24 patties); 1 box Falafel box; 1 cup water. Combine Falafel Mix with cold water and let stand for 10 minutes. Pour vegetable oil 1/2 inch deep or more into a deep fryer or skillet. Heat oil so falafel patties fry vigorously (approximately 350 degrees to 375 degrees F). Form small patties or balls using two spoons or a melon baller. Fry patties 1 minute on each side until brown and crisp. Place patties on paper towels. Serve while hot. No Oil Directions: Make 1/2 inch thin patties. Use a nonstick skillet or griddle without oil and cook over medium heat for 3 minutes on each side. Follow steps 1 and 2 above. Make 1/2 inch thin patties and place patties on a non-stick baking pan. Pre-heat oven to 375 degrees F and bake patties 8-10 minutes on each side until lightly brown.
