Fill or transfer a new prescriptionbrowse: prescriptions
| To fill a new prescription, click the Place Prescription Order at the top right of the pharmacy home page. After setting up an account, we'll direct you through our four-step process for filling new prescriptions--it usually takes you 10 to 15 minutes to:
|
1. Choose your payment option: self-pay (no insurance) or insurance
2. Create a health profile
3. Provide your prescription information
4. Checkout

1. Have your doctor call or fax us your prescription details
This is the quickest way to receive your medication. Simply have your doctor call or fax us with your prescription details and we'll take it from there. When placing your prescription order, choose "My doctor will contact drugstore.com" and we'll provide you with detailed instructions to give your doctor. (Due to legal restrictions, we can only accept faxed prescriptions directly from your doctor.)
2. Transfer your prescription from your current pharmacy
If you currently fill your prescription at another pharmacy, simply give us the pharmacy name and phone number and we'll call them to transfer your prescription to us. When placing your prescription order, choose "Please transfer the prescription from my current pharmacy" and we'll contact your pharmacist.
3. Mail your original prescription to us
If you have your original prescription, you can send it to us in the mail. When placing your prescription order, choose "I will mail in the prescription" and we'll provide you with detailed mailing instructions. You'll receive email confirmations when we receive your prescription in the mail, when it's ready for you to order, and after it's been shipped.
