She has joint pain from being hit by a car last fall, and I have been trying different pain treatments. I can't yet tell if the treats are helping her with the pain; maybe I need to wait another couple of weeks to see. Even if it turns out they do not help very much, I will continue to buy them for my cat because she loves these treats. VS Most Liked Negative Review Zero stars. We tried these treats to provide Glucosamine and Chondroitin. She ate a few for the first day or two, then wouldn't have anything to do with them. I even tried chopping them and putting in wet food, but she wouldn't eat it. They smell VERY salty and strong and, probably worst part of all, they gave her diarrhea for several days! Stick with Cosequin capsules that can be pulled apart and sprinkled in wet food, which has been working for us for two weeks now and hopefully she will have increased improvement in her mobility. Comments about Catswell Happy Hips Cat Chews, Chicken Breast, 2 oz: These are amazing! My (dumb) male cat was willing to learn to sit on command just so that he could get his treats. I like the fact that these are not particularly oily so that they do not leave marks when dropped on my white carpet. They are also easy to divide, which is good for training. Pros

Comments about Catswell Happy Hips Cat Chews, Chicken Breast, 2 oz: These treats are great if you have a cat that's prone to chewing things... such as plant leaves, rubber bands, etc. The treats offer something for them to chew on to satisfy that urge. My cats run from wherever they are when they here the bag crinkle! And we like that they are made from free-range chicken (and just a few simple ingredients). Pros

Comments about Catswell Happy Hips Cat Chews, Chicken Breast, 2 oz: We use this as a reward for our cat. We have been able to train her to sit, come when we call. When we call her, she meows as if she is saying "coming". My daughter is training her to shake hands with her paw with these. Pros

Comments about Catswell Happy Hips Cat Chews, Chicken Breast, 2 oz: I bought these as a filler to reach $25. My cat loved them. I gave some to 2 friends and their cats love them too. They are different from most snacks and I would guess they taste pretty good : ) Pros

Comments about Catswell Happy Hips Cat Chews, Chicken Breast, 2 oz: I've tried so many different types of treats and the only other type both my cats like is the smelly and messy fish flakes. But they both go crazy over this one. Pros

Cons Best Uses Comments about Catswell Happy Hips Cat Chews, Chicken Breast, 2 oz: I used these for a couple of years on and off. One of my cats likes them a little and the other can't even stand the smell of them. I continued to get them for the one cat, but the last 3 times I purchased them, once I opened the bag and even sometimes before opening them they were moldy. And very quickly within days. Not impressed and will stop buying them altogehter. |
