I bought this tea as a change of pace from Lipton's Cold Brew. The Celestial Seasonings works the same way, using tap or filtered water to brew the tea instead of hot water. HOWEVER, Celestial Seasonings is a weak tea & it didn't brew up strong enough. It took 3 bags for me to get a strong enough tea taste that I could tell what I was drinking. Bigger glasses required more bags, which is not cost effective. If the bags were made bigger for bigger glasses like Lipton does, then I'd buy this more often. Otherwise, this tea is a waste of time & money.

I usually make hot tea and then ice it for lunch at work. This is much easier - no hot water needed. However, it does not work as well in ice water as in room temperature water, so it's better to add the ice after it has brewed.

By the Pitcher: (Makes 10 quarts)
Use 4 tea bags for each quart. Pour cool water over tea bags. Brew for 5 to 10 minutes. Remove tea bags. Add ice and your favorite sweetener. For a stronger brew, use more tea bags, and brew for 10 minutes. Garnish with fresh fruit or mint. Best if used within 72 hours. Enjoy!

By the Glass: Use 1 or 2 tea bags for each 8 ounces.
