I had gastric bypass surgery last year so can't eat much food anymore. Now I have to chew my vitamins and minerals to get them into my blood stream. These Centrum Silver Chewables are perfect for me. Even if YOUR stomach can still dissolve your vitamins, why not chew them and enjoy the great flavor of Centrum Silver Chewables? Oops! I think I sound like a commercial, don't I? Sorry about that. These are perfect to just chew up and go. They actually help to take the taste out of my mouth of some capsules that I have to open up and sprinkle on my tongue. I have an extremely hard time swallowing any pill much bigger than an aspirin, so chewable multiples -- for GROWN-UPS -- are essential for me. After an illness and major surgery a few years ago that left me with basically no stomach, I also need chewables to help my body absorb them. These taste great and seem to be working very well for me. WOMEN -- please note that these vitamins do not contain iron, so you probably need an iron supplement in addition to these.
