minor sore throat pain
sore mouth
minor mouth irritation
pain associated with canker sores
Warnings
Tamper Evident: Product inside sealed in blister package printed "CEPASTAT®" for your protection. Do not use if blister package has been disturbed or opened.
When using this product do not use more than directed.
Stop use and ask a doctor if:
Sore throat is severe, lasts for more than 2 days, occurs with or is followed by fever, headache, rash, nausea or vomiting.
Sore mouth symptoms last more than 7 days, or irritation, pain or redness continues or worsens.
If pregnant or breast-feeding, ask a health professional before use.
Keep out of reach of children.
In case of overdose, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away.

When they went off the shelft, I was delighted to find that Drugstore carried this product. Have been using it for years. Most of the time, it stops the pain of sore throat and/or stuffy nose. Best product I have ever found for those problems.

I have used this product of years and years until I could no longer find it in the Portland Metro area. I thought it was discontinued and been suffering major throat pain for about 5 years now. I've tried several different products but they have no effect. This has been the ONLY product that I have used that has been effective, so I am sooo glad, and grateful that you can still buy it. Thank you for having this product available.

I've used Cepastat for many years but can no longer find it locally. I have chronic sinus drainage with scratchy throat, hoarseness and a boatload of allergies. This lozenge contains phenol which is very effective for me. Some people don't like the taste, but I think it tastes just fine. I'm a singer and this product really soothes an irritated throat. Too bad it's so hard to find. I order it on-line.

Don't know why this product no longer appears to be available in Chicagoland stores, as we used to always keep it on hand. Was glad to find it on this website - ordered it just in time for my husband's serious bout with some sort of flu. Has been a life saver with his lingering cough. It works quickly, takes the edge off sore throat, coughing or dryness. The phenol helps keep your nose clear and it is not as sticky sugary sweet as standard cough drops
