I have been a long time Philosophy - Purity user however lately my skin wasn't looking it's best. My skin is VERY sensitive so I have to be careful what products I use on it. My dermatologist recommended CeraVe and I fell in love with it after the first use. This product is GREAT for sensitive skin! Works better than Purity and is a lot less expensive. Their moisturizing products are wonderful too!

I use this product night and day and I'm in love with it. I really like how it foams, and it doesn't have a strong smell like the cetaphil facial cleanser.

The CeraVe Hydrating cleanser is wonderful. Knowing that and knowing that I have oily skin, I thought this would be wonderful, as well. I really wanted to like it.

I used the Foaming cleanser several times on my face and noticed that about half an hour after washing, I would have small, white flakes on my face. When I would rub my face, the flakes would come off. It wasn't dry skin. Dry skin does not rub off.

Because I loved the Hydrating cleanser, I refused to believe it the Foaming cleanser was the culprit. I changed a bunch of other products such as my moisturizer and sunscreen, but the problem persisted. Finally, I tried using the Foaming cleanser on my left forearm and rinsing it with water. Half an hour later, I compared my left forearm to my right under very bright lighting. Sure enough, there were white flakes on my left forearm, but not the right.

I don't know whether the flakes are residue from the cleanser or some sort of dermatitis, but they're definitely there and definitely a result of using CeraVe Foaming Cleanser. It may work beautifully for others, but it's definitely not for me.

My dermatologist has recommended the Cerave skincare products for my sensitive skin. So I tried this face wash when it came out and I have been using it ever since. This facial cleanser is mild, gentle, fragrance free and perfect for sensitive skin. It will not fully remove eye makeup, since it is so gentle, so I use an eye makeup remover as well.

My son was struggling with acne. Dermatologist recommended CeraVe along with CeraVe Pm. He's doing great. I myself am beginning to use the product after using Philosophy which cost more.

I really like this product. I used to buy Philosphy cleanser and feel like this is really similar and less expensive. I'm very happy with it.

I wanted to like this face wash, heard good things about it, but it really dries out my skin. Going back to my usual which never made my skin dry. I regret using this should have stayed with my old product.

First dermatologist I went to recommended Dove Soap. It was okay. The 2nd one recommended CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser and I used a whole bottle of that. I like the foam so I got this and love it. Have been using for about 4 years and will continue to do so. It is very balancing.

My dermatologist recommended CeraVe Cream for my excema, and it worked great. When my rosacea scrip left my face feeling a little raw, I started using CeraVe Cleanser. It helped a lot. And now I use the Facial Moisturizer on my combination skin. It has no scent, and it vanishes into my skin without any oily feel. My skin is softer and more pliant.
