I have oily/combination skin with very dry cheeks. My dermatologist recommended this to me which made the entire visit worth it. I am a product junkie and most moisturizers I've used actually make my skin more dry. My cheeks were very red/irritated and within a day or two of using this were completely healed and the softest my face has ever been. It has a nice gel texture, absorbs without evaporating and drying out the skin and most importantly is healing. I am completely in love with this product and will continue to purchase - and I very rarely go back to the same product and am always searching for something better. Luckily I don't have to search anymore!

I purchased this product because of the many positive reviews. However I made the mistake of not going to the product designated website before purchasing in that it advertises product use for normal to oily skin. Because of my own observations of my skin to be drier than normal I find the product to do little in actually moisturizing. On a positive note I have not found this product to be greasy and may now continue use at pm with the combination of cerave moisturizing cream, for what it may be worth.

I tried this face moisturizer for a few days. It stings when I put it on and the stinging didn't go away for hours. It makes my skin red and irritated. It also made my skin flaky and dry. I don't know what ingredient is irritating my skin, but I am going back to Cetaphil from now on. My store ran out and so I bought the Cerave instead. Boy! was I sorry. Very harsh on my skin. I thought it was especially for sensitive skin but it was just too much stinging.

I bought this when I ran out of the Hyaluronic Acid serum I normally use to mix with my Retin-A micro. I thought the serum was lightweight and could have been more moisturizing, but this stuff...wow. I felt like I wasn't putting anything on my face in the first place. It dried so quickly I once thought I'd forgotten to put it on. My face felt dry 15 minutes after application and drier still when I woke up. To top it off, my cheeks and forehead became red and flakey. Apparently this may be from the Niacinamide. I normally take a Niacinamide supplement and my skin has been great, though. Regardless of the cause, my skin cleared up the moment I quit using this.

I love these products! I forgot my cosmetics bag when we left on a "Road Trip" Pulling a Camper in March. I had to try to find something to substitute for 2 days until I could find a store along the interstate that' carried CeraVe, and my sensitive skin really suffered. I won't be without it again! It has really cleared up my skin. I was a consultants for a cosmetics Co and I had to quit because I was having so many problems with my skin. I remembered my previous Dermatologist used CeraVe in his practice and decided to try it. I have recommended it to several of my friends and both of my daughters.

i decided to try this based on the positive reviews. i had heard a lot of good feedback about CeraVe products, but had never tried them until now. i like this moisturizer because immediately upon application it soothes your skin. it absorbs well to me. it does not feel like it is just sitting on top of your skin. it has a silky texture and feel and is non-irritating to my sensitive skin. i have been using Complex 15 face cream which i absolutely LOVE also. i will now alternate between the two of them. i highly recommend this face cream.
