My skin has been extremely dry, itchy, red and flaky for as long as I can remember. No matter how much or how often I used other lotions, nothing worked. This stuff is amazing. I now have smooth soft legs with no flaking skin! No more itching and the redness is gone. I can't say enough good about this moisturizer. If your skin is seriously dry, you have no hope and you are at your wits end, try this. I know you will be as thrilled as I am.

I have been using CeraVe cream and lotion for a number of years after tring many other brands, inclduding more expensive ones, and I am very satisfied with CeraVe. Many lotions/creams hydrate at first application, but my skin felt dry later in the day.
As I have seen in other reviews, I have received the product with the top open and the cream all over the shipping container. The jar should be wrapped/protected for shipping.

I started using this about 5 yrs ago and won't let myself run dry (get it?).
I keep a jar in my shower now. it's my moisturizer. I keep one next to my tv chair for regular use at night. it's just wonderful.

I have oily skin, so it might have been dumb for me to have gotten this in the first place. However, it was recommended to me by a dermatologist in February, so I got it. I was on a prescription acne treatment, and my skin was horribly dry and was flaky and scaly and disgusting, and this stuff REALLY moisturized my skin. After all the flakes were gone and my skin was back to normal (except without acne--yay!), I kept using the stuff because the container was huge. I was okay with it, even though my face was an oil slick by noon. It always has been; probably always will be. However, when the hotter months came around, it was awful. I live in a pretty hot climate, and it got into the high 80s at the start of May. My skin was completely oily all the time. This is also where the burning started. Now, where I apply it, my face turns red and it starts to burn. The redness stays for a few seconds, then fades, but the burning takes a little longer to go away, and my face feels tender for half an hour. I know this line is known for being gentle and non-irritating, but it's just not working for me. However, it might work for someone with very dry skin. Or, at least, not very oily. Tonight, I diluted it with water, which seemed to help a little, but it still stings. I'm going to keep the tub, and start using something else, then maybe try it again when winter rolls around. I forgot to say this, but it has a very thick consistency, and no fragrance. It's very very very moisturizing, so it might work for someone with dry skin. Maybe not sensitive skin, though... I gave it a star because, even though I didn't like it, it IS very moisturizing, and could work for someone with dry skin.

This was my first Cerave product, and since then I've converted to using several products in this line. This cream is excellent. It's thick, unscented, non-greasy, and cures chapped winter skin. I even used this on my face without irritation or breakouts. Other reviewers have said it works on the face for eczema. If you can't find a facial moisturizer to cure severely dry or winter chapped skin, try this. It might be your can't-live-without.

This is the only product I have ever used that has been able to control my excema and dry skin. I am a swimmer and always have had trouble keeping my excema under control and keeping my skin moisturized. Have tried both the lotion and the cream. The lotion is a little lighter weight, but just as effective. I prefer the cream for my really dry skin. This is the best moisturizer I have ever used. I will never buy another moisturizer again. Worth every penny!

No smell, absorbed into skin immediately. Not greasy. I'm back to my keyboard within minutes of applying the lotion. GREAT GREAT Product!

The CeraVe arrived with the lid completely off of one and the product spread over the inside of the cardboard box and other containers. Tighten the lid before shipping the containers!!!

I have severe eczema and hyperkeratosis. My face would flake so badly that I didn't want to leave the house and go out, especially during the winter months. When I say "flake off" it would literally look like i had dirt on my face. I tried CeraVe and I gotta admit, it burned. But the acids in the product are what help the moisture barrier repair itself in the skin. My skin is now permanently amazing, and I CANT BELIEVE IT. I am so happy, it has changed my life and how I feel about myself.

I have a very dry, at times flaky T-zone. Sadly I've used many products and it doesn't help much. I was told to try Cerave as it was a thicker cream product. Unfortunately, even though it absorbs quickly, it seems my skin ends up drier and flakier after I apply the cream. I've gone back to olive oil and a baking soda scrub.
