I have rosacea and acne. My doctor recommended that I use this after applying differin. I was hestitant at first,...its summer..i didn't want to use this thick cream on my face. But I listened to my doctor and I'm so thankful now I did. My pre-rosacea and pre-acne skin is back. My face is so moist, with a glow and there is no breaking out and turning red. No doubt, a big part of this is due to the differin and the antibiotic but at least 25% is due to this miracle cream. I'm ditching my expensive kinerase cream for this big 'ol tub. I've been using it for about 3 weeks now and my skin is improving in tone and appearance. I love it so much, I even use it during the day under my make-up. If you apply a really thin layer and wait for the cream to be absorbed, the make-up would hold. During the day, my face does get a little shiny but i just dab on alittle loose powder and it all goes away.
Of course, I do have pretty dry skin. If you have oily skin, you might want to consider just using this at night.

I really wanted this cream and the companion lotion to work for me. Sadly, upon application, this cream burned and continued to burn even after splashing with water. I had to get my cleanser out and wash my face a second time. I have dry, sensitive skin and have had huge problems finding lotions and creams to use on my facial skin. I have been through the gamit: Olay, Cetaphil, Sarna, Aveeno calming, Purpose, you name it, I feel I have tried it. Dove discontinued the only product I had success with as of late. I am currently using a specialty line and its ok, but gives me the occasional pimple and isn't the most cost effective either. Sigh...my quest moves onward.
This product was recommended by my dermatologist. I use it daily and love, love, love it. It feels heavy going on but, in a second it is abosorbed into my skin leaving a noticable softness. Great product.
I am an RN, and wash my hand at least 50+ times a day. This cream was originally recommended to me by my dermatologist. I love it. It moisturizes without leaving me greasy, and I can work after using it. It does not have a strong smell. It's wonderful.
My dermatologist recommended this as a face wash for my mild acne and mild rosacea. I'd never used a moisturizer as a wash before but I really like it. Just a little bit on a wash cloth and about a minute of circular motions followed by about a minute of rinsing with the wash cloth using the same circular motions. Leaves my skin feeling good.
The only thing I don't like about it is that it contains parabens. That's a bummer and makes my rating 4 stars instead of 5. Otherwise, I like the product.
My 2-year old daughter has Eczema and her pediatrician recommneded this product. It has done wonders!! Her skin has cleared up and when the Eczema flares up, it quickly helps resolve the redness. It isn't greasy and actually moistens her skin. My daughter also has sensitive skin and this works perfectly. I won't use anything else.
I was suffering from a terrible skin rash on my back and my dermatologist prescribed a steroid cream. I could only use the skin cream for one month, so the dermatologist recommended this brand for follow-up. It has kept my skin moisturized and rash-free!! I use the CeraVe lotion, also for my legs and arms. Drugstore.com has had a great price on the CeraVe line for several weeks!
My husband & I were recommended this cream by his Dermatologist for his extremely winter dry skin and hands. WE LOVE IT! and I keep one by the kitchen sink, and each bathroom sink. Worked wonders on our winter dry skin & hands. Would highly recommend this cream.
