Sadly, upon application, this cream burned and continued to burn even after splashing with water. I had to get my cleanser out and wash my face a second time. I have dry, sensitive skin and have had huge problems finding lotions and creams to use on my facial skin. I have been through the gamit: Olay, Cetaphil, Sarna, Aveeno calming, Purpose, you name it, I feel I have tried it. Dove discontinued the only product I had success with as of late. I am currently using a specialty line and its ok, but gives me the occasional pimple and isn't the most cost effective either. Sigh...my quest moves onward. My face would flake so badly that I didn't want to leave the house and go out, especially during the winter months. When I say "flake off" it would literally look like i had dirt on my face. I tried CeraVe and I gotta admit, it burned. But the acids in the product are what help the moisture barrier repair itself in the skin. My skin is now permanently amazing, and I CANT BELIEVE IT. I am so happy, it has changed my life and how I feel about myself. Pros Cons
Best Uses Comments about CeraVe Moisturizing Cream, 16 oz: I have a very dry, at times flaky T-zone. Sadly I've used many products and it doesn't help much. I was told to try Cerave as it was a thicker cream product. Unfortunately, even though it absorbs quickly, it seems my skin ends up drier and flakier after I apply the cream. I've gone back to olive oil and a baking soda scrub. Pros

HOWEVER, this container is gigantic and not portable in any way. I used to buy the tubes, but it seems Drugstore no longer carries them. IN addition, these huge jars are not sealed in any way. Comments about CeraVe Moisturizing Cream, 16 oz: I use this as a body lotion especially when my legs get dry. When I was staying in Maryland during the dry winter my legs were extremely dry. I used it every other day for a week & noticed results instantly. No more scaling & itching! Now I use it once a week or when needed after I get out of the shower & I never have dry skin. Really smoothed out my skin & made it really soft. LOVE that it is in a tub so I can get down to the bottom of it w/o having to put the bottles upside down, etc! A def must have! Pros

Comments about CeraVe Moisturizing Cream, 16 oz: I have problems with Eczema caused by contact Dermatitis. I am almost 71 and swim 1 1/2 miles every day at an indoor pool. My Dermatologist recommended CeraVe and I apply it all over my body after I swim and shower. It really makes my skin feel better, is non-greasy and takes away the dryness due to the effects of the Chlorine and water exposure for over an hour each day. It is a little on the expensive side, but but definately worth it, as it goes a long ways. Some of the other less expensive products out there just do not do the job. This is one of those products that you get what you pay for, and occasionally Drugstore.com runs specials on CeraVe. Pros
