I use this on my face because I have tried every moisturizer out there and nothing worked for me. They were either too heavy and greasy, or they were so light and ineffective that it would do nothing for me. Others would clog my pores or cause irritation. This lotion is wonderful. I will never use anything else. I use acne treatments on my face so they can reallly leave my face pretty dried out, but this lotion works so well, I can't say enough about it. My face has transformed. It feels so soft and looks so much healthier. I use it after washing my face at night and I use it under my foundation in the morning. My foundation goes on so smoothly. Comments about CeraVe Moisturizing Lotion, 12 fl oz: I have itchy skin that isn't necessarily the most dry, but the itch drives me crazy. The ceramides and hyarulonic acid in this make this product top notch, and the fact that its priced so well is a grand slam in my opinion. Other products like elizabeth arden ceramide complex offer the same ingredients and rack up the price a ridiculous amount. Whereas you have this wonderful product with no scent and amazing ingredients. Some products are moisturizing, but they are greasy, this absorbs easily but still feels moisturizing. Also they don't test on animals, I couldn't ask for anything more. I use this everywhere my face body neck you name it. It's perfect. Try cerave's other products they're all fantastic. I would get these deep cracks in the tips of my fingers by my nails and no matter how much lotion I used they would not go away. Sometimes at night I would sleep wth numerous bandaids covered in antibiotic cream on my hands. After using this lotion for about a week, no more cracks! I quit using it for several days and had some cracks develop and started back and they healed right up. I'm really happy I found this lotion and will be sure I always have a bottle in my medicine cabinet. Thanks CeraVe! I googled "inexpensive moisturizers containing ceramides" and CeraVe was the first one to show up. I was so happy because that is what I'd been and still am using. My dermatologist recommended it to me 4 years or so ago. I am almost 60 years old and it is the best I've found over the years. Lasts for most of the day, even if it's dry out. Also, it's easy on sensitive skin. Comments about CeraVe Moisturizing Lotion, 12 fl oz: I love this as a nighttime face moisturizer. It's slightly greasy, I do agree. So, I use this at night & it's not a problem. I have very acne-prone skin & this does not break me out. I will admit it made my skin burn a little, but only for a few seconds, maybe half a minute, but that might have just been how dry & chapped my face was. My skin was very dry & peeling from my medication & this worked great to get my skin back to being moisturized. Plus it's very cheap compared to other moisturizers, especially for how much you get. I feel like this will last forever & when it does run out, I will definitely re-purchase.
